If you’re in Kalkan and craving an unforgettable Turkish meal, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Every dish we ordered was packed with authentic flavor and prepared with so much care—it honestly felt like a love letter to Turkish cuisine.

We started with the Pastırmalı Humus, and wow—creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced with that salty kick from the pastırma. It was the ideal beginning. Then came Mutebbel, my absolute favorite. Smoky, silky, and subtly tangy, it was hands down one of the best versions I’ve ever tasted.

The Balloon Bread (Balon Ekmek) arrived fresh and piping hot, puffed up like a golden cloud and perfect for dipping into the meze. It paired beautifully with the spicy Ezme (Asmi), creamy Tzatziki, and fresh Salad—each bite better than the last.

But the real star? The Lamb Shish—tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. It came with warm, soft bread and made for a soul-satisfying main course that we’re still dreaming about.

Everything was presented with generosity and warmth, and the ambiance only made the experience better—relaxed, welcoming, and full of charm.

🇩🇪 Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Kalkan! Das Restaurant mâbeyn überzeugt mit außergewöhnlich leckerem Essen und einem Service, der seinesgleichen sucht. Das gesamte Team ist überaus höflich, aufmerksam und herzlich man spürt sofort, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Besonders beeindruckend: Der Besitzer nimmt sich persönlich Zeit, an jeden Tisch zu kommen und nach der Zufriedenheit der Gäste zu fragen ein Zeichen echter Gastfreundschaft und Professionalität. Das Beyti war das beste, das ich je gegessen habe und ich habe viele probiert! Alles wird hier hausgemacht, wirklich alles mit einer Qualität, die selbst mit interkulturellen Spitzenrestaurants mithalten kann. Ein weiterer schöner Moment: Mein Kind, das eine Woche lang nichts essen wollte, hat hier zum ersten Mal wieder mit Appetit gegessen. Leider habe ich dieses tolle Restaurant erst spät entdeckt es liegt etwas versteckt in einer Seitengasse. Aber der Weg lohnt sich absolut! Und nicht zu vergessen: der unglaublich schnelle Lieferservice! Unsere Bestellung war in weniger als 10 Minuten bei uns frisch, heiß und perfekt zubereitet. Vielen Dank Mâbeyn.

Burada işin gerçekten aşkla yapıldığını hissediyorsunuz. Özellikle etkileyici olan; restoran sahibi her masaya tek tek gelip memnuniyetinizi soruyor bu da gerçek bir misafirperverlik ve profesyonelliğin göstergesi. Yediğim en iyi Beyti’yi burada tattım çok denedim ama aralarında açık ara en iyisi buydu! Her şey ama her şey tamamen kendi mutfaklarında yapılıyor ve kalite, uluslararası üst düzey restoranlarla yarışır düzeyde. Bir hafta boyunca hiçbir şey yemek istemeyen çocuğum, ilk kez burada iştahla yemek yedi bu da bizim için ayrı bir mutluluk oldu. Ne yazık ki bu güzel mekanı biraz geç keşfettik küçük bir ara sokakta yer alıyor ama inanın, bulmaya ve gitmeye fazlasıyla değer! Ve elbette unutulmamalı: Son derece hızlı paket servisi! 🇬🇧 A true hidden gem in Kalkan! mâbeyn restaurant offers incredibly delicious food and outstanding service. The entire staff is extremely polite, attentive, and genuinely kind you can immediately tell that they are passionate about what they do. What impressed me most: the owner personally visits each table to ask if everything is to your satisfaction a rare and wonderful touch of hospitality and professionalism. I’ve tried many Beytis in my life, but this one was by far the best I’ve ever had. Everything is handmade truly everything and the quality can easily compete with top international cuisine. Another lovely moment: after a full week of not eating much, my child finally enjoyed a proper meal here which meant a lot to us as a family. Unfortunately, I discovered this place quite late it’s tucked away in a side alley but it’s absolutely worth finding. And not to forget: the incredibly fast delivery service! Our order arrived in less than 10 minutes hot, fresh and perfectly prepared. Don’t miss...

We had a fantastic meal here last night - proper Turkish food cooked with love, care and attention to detail.

The complimentary balloon bread and mezze were one thing (that ezme, wow) but the main courses were simply sublime. Perfectly cooked, generous portions of tender meat served with beautiful accompaniments. The spinach pide is immense too - we couldn't manage it all but took it home and had it for breakfast today.

Huge respect to Murat and all the team for their service too. Top class, friendly and full of witty banter. A great crew who took time to chat with us in detail about their history in Kalkan, their focus on quality ingredients and their hopes for the future.

Possibly the best meal we've ever had in Kalkan, we'll certainly visit...
