Rose Restaurant — Restaurant in Kaş

I had such a memorable experience dining at Rose Restaurant in Kalkan. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were not only friendly and kind, but also incredibly helpful- they took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations, and I’m so glad I followed their advice.

The food was absolutely exquisite. Every dish I tried was authentically Turkish, full of rich, vibrant flavours and clearly made with love. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the quality was outstanding. One of the highlights for me was the freshly baked bread that came straight out of their wood-fired oven — warm, crisp, and completely addictive. Also the stuffed vine leaves were incredible.

The atmosphere was just as lovely as the food — relaxed and welcoming, with a real sense of heart behind everything they do. It felt like more than just a meal; it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home.

After eating at a few places, this restaurant has by far been the best we have been to. After a nice pedicure me and my wife wanted some breakfast. We had seen good reviews for this place and it wasn’t too far from where we already were. It’s in the side street off a main road which made it a perfect place as your a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle. We were greeted nicely by a young gentleman. We were seated in the nice shade and he kept the fans on us so we could stay cool. We ordered the breakfast for 2 which was amazing. The variety was huge and the serving dishes just kept on coming. The food was organic, authentic and fresh. Even the butter served was amazing. We also noticed the difference of service from this place to the others. We were left alone to enjoy our meal where as other places you’re being stared at constantly while you eat. What a brilliant experience and I can’t believe how cheap this was. We ate a lot and only paid little in comparison to other places. We are definitely going to place a visit again before we finish our stay. If you’re in 2 minds of where to go. Amazing restaurant, please turn up hungry as portions are large! We walked in about 8pm without a reservation and were kindly took to a table, explained that the kitchen was busy and there may be a small wait. We ordered a couple of effes, hummus to share, a pide and meatballs for main. The food arrived and it was hot and delicious, the presentation and attention to detail was the best we have seen, all cooked by the Mum. We didn't manage it all and they kindly put in a takeaway box for us. Then asked if we would like tea, coffee on the house but we were both full we declined. We got the bill which was very reasonable for where we were and the amount of food served, a portion of turkish delight and the best was the rose hand sanitizer, smelt amazing.
