14/07/2020 - Booked through Cobone a Hatta Mountain Tour, only to be disappointed, firstly the 7 seater vehicle was not sanitised and very old yet we were still optimistic since it was the start of our journey. Secondly when we reached the mountain there was no tour through the mountain, most of the activities were closed yet they charged us for it. We requested for a receipt to date Mr. Suhail the owner of the company did not provide us with a receipt, despite him and the driver Mr. Ahmed promising to email it. The driver had no knowledge of the area [ Hatta ] we were expecting some type of tour guide, he could not speak English very well yet he understood us when we noted we were dissatisfied, "be careful". Overall the experience was atrocious 0/10. We paid 500Dhms for a taxi ride to Hatta and back basically. Which we could have done ourselves. Called Consumer Rights they required a receipt to lodge a complaint since we did not get this we could not report the company, please ensure for any future travels to have this before the start of your trip. Do not take honesty...

ย ย ย Read moreIt was a good experience, the dune bashing is very short ride going to the camp. It is a peak season, maybe more or less 2 thousand people present. We were greeted by a photographer that took our photo which is not free but you can turn them down if you are on a budget. Food is okay but long queue. Best if you take the VIP, better food I believe. On site they ask for 100AED per person for VIP upgrade. If you are hungry and can't wait for the included free dinner, 40 bucks for a full plate of french fries, 15AED (you have to fight the seller asking 20AED) indomie cup noodles and Pringles for 25AED. But I think it is allowed to bring food, I saw a family brought biryani chicken rice. The show is okay, stage for belly dancing and others.
Overall, great experience for post covid...
