THE MYSTERY BOX OFFER AT GEEKAY IS JUST A WAY TO GET MORE SALES, NOT AUTHENTIC, NOT FAIR. I understand that it's a promotion to increase their sales but it's totally unfair. The novelties and collectibles quality and the prices on which they are selling is of high level. For buying 3 items we have to atleast shell out 120 to 150 dirhams and we expect that the item we get in gift will be of same quality but NOO they bring some old stuff from their store room and break children's heart. There were many children in store who were buying 3 items to get the prize obviously expecting a product on their shelves but NO THEY ARE GIVING CHEAP OLD STUFF FROM STORE ROOM. OK AT few places may be as they say kids might have won something big but it's not possible in every mystery box. As PARENTS CONDEMN THIS MYSTERY BOX CHALLENGE AND SAVE YOUR CHILDREN FROM DISAPPOINTMENT AND THIS CHEAP GAMBLE PLEASE.I did get a bag in GEEKAY MOE but that was not from the shelf too but atleast not of bad quality but yesteday saw 2 kids disappointed as store people brought some old stuff from store. I recently visited Geekay Electronics at Dubai Hills Mall for their fantastic promotion, where they offer free dust cleaning for CPUs, regardless of where they were purchased. I was thrilled to take advantage of this offer, and I’m happy to report that the same promotion is currently running at their Mall of the Emirates location as well.

From the moment I walked into the store with my heavy CPU, the staff provided exceptional service. They immediately approached me with a warm smile, took the CPU off my hands, and quickly gathered my details. They let me know how long the cleaning would take, and I was fortunate they could complete it within a few hours.

A special mention goes to Victor Adzakor, the PC builder staff who handled the cleaning. He did an incredible job! As we all know, CPUs can accumulate a lot of dust over time. Mr. Victor carefully disassembled every part of the CPU and cleaned it thoroughly. When I returned to pick it up, I was amazed—my CPU looked brand new, as if I had just purchased it!

I bought a PS5 from them on the 30th of September, 2022. I am well within the warranty period (1 year) as of the day I’m writing this review.

My controller developed stick drift (common ps5 problem) and they’re telling me that the PS5 has 1 year warranty BUT the controller has only 6 months warranty (which is not true at all and not in line with Sony’s warranty policy).

I know this because i managed to go around Geekay games and claim the warranty via Jumbo electronics (they’re the distributor for PS5s in the region). Jumbo Electronics have replaced my controller at no additional cost once I provided the original receipt from Geekay games.

This is terrible customer service and absolute negligence. I personally will never visit this store again. I will go out of my way to advise my friends and family to not buy anything from your store.
