Our daughter joined KI 2 years ago when she was 18 months old and today, we leave with hearts full of love, gratitude, and unforgettable memories. What makes this place special is how simple they keep it – filling each day with joy, love, and meaningful play.

Every person at KI, no matter their role, leads with heart – and that’s what makes all the difference. Over the past two years, we’ve seen our daughter truly flourish — from her clarity in talking from a young age and keen observation skills to building independent habits and independent play - the impact is visible in every aspect of her growth. But what we value most is how she’s learned to be kind, generous, and loving — qualities that matter more than anything else. This is our 3rd nursery in Dubai. When our 2nd child joined from another nursery, he had been crying every morning for the 12 months he was enrolled there: within 10 days at Kids Island, not only did the crying magically stopped, he was also eager to go every single day for 1.5 yrs. So naturally we enrolled our 3rd child who is as happy as his big brother was. Kid's Island is what every nursery should be: a very nurturing environment where the kids are happy and safe. Every single staff knows every kids name (impressive), whether they attend their class or not, so the kids are greeted by every adult staff they see when they walk in to school. The teachers are very loving. The nursery doesn't perhaps have the Dubai glam of certain newer nurseries, but they certainly make up for it by the most amazing themed set ups they change monthly and the gorgeous outside discovery garden they set up: the kids are exposed to so much through these, they learn a lot. This is a testament to their incredible creativity which they use daily to get the kids engaged and learning, plus they come home with the most gorgeous learning journey book at the end of the year. On the hygiene note, the nursery is cleaned 100% with natural, non toxic products - it is sparkling clean, despite the many messy activities they do in class - and my kids, personally, have never been ill through nursery. Where do I start? We have had such an amazing experience with Kids Island. Our daughter started there right when the nurseries opened during covid. I was hesitant to send my child to nursery but knew after the lockdowns that she needed more stimulation and social interaction with other children. Ms. Agethe is part of the management team and she immediately impressed me with her professionalism. She gave us regular updates about government regulations. They were already ahead of the curve when it came to sanitation requirements. She put me at ease- I felt my daughter would be safe. Her teacher Ms. Rolien and her assistant Ms. May gave my daughter so much care and attention throughout the year. They exude kindness and warmth . The activities they planned were incredibly creative and thoughtful. The nursery facilities are wonderful - every corner is an opportunity to learn and engage through play.
