Can't recommend this highly enough. Pick up directly from our hotel. Our designated driver Mohamed was absolutely brilliant. It was an hour travel from our location to the dunes, where the real fun began. Quick stop to release some air from the tyres after we left the tarmac and transitioned to sand then off we went on an adrenaline filled bashing of the dunes in our Mitsubishi 4 x 4. A few stops along the route to take some photos and take in our surroundings. Nothing but sand for miles. Such a surreal experience and we hadn't even made camp at that point. More dune bashing as we headed to camp. On arrival the camp looked busy from the outside due to the number of 4 x 4s already parked up but I would estimate around 100-150 people max. No issues with queueing for drinks or toilets. Only time we queued was with everyone else for our dinner, which was a nice simple process. Mohamed was nice and sincere enough to let us know that some of the store owners may push to buy things but a simple "no thanks" was enough for them to move on. We didn't feel pressured in any way to buy anything although I couldn't resist buying a keffiyeh to protect my bald head from the sun. Mohamed designated us a table and told us everything we needed to know about the camp before leaving us to do our own thing.

There is camel riding and dune boarding which is free, although we did not want to ride camels out of personal preference. Also quad riding which is an additional cost.

All refreshments except alcohol are also free.

As the sun sets at camp the entertainment begins which you need to experience for yourself, but it was really great and an immersive crowd experience, I was pulled up on stage 😂.

Overall a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend Aladdin's Adventures and Mohamed.

From start to finish, this tour was exceptional. My driver and guide, Mohammed, was absolutely brilliant. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and full of insights about the region. The journey down to Liwa took over two hours, but the time flew by thanks to Mohammed’s commentary and the incredible desert scenery.

Along the way, we saw camels, gazelles, desert rats, and even lizards darting through the sand. What really stood out for me was hearing the sound of the sand as we descended steep dunes in the 4x4. It was like a deep bass reverberation, almost like a plane overhead. I had never experienced anything like it before.

We stopped at a date farm, which was genuinely fascinating, and the food served there was top notch. Authentic, fresh, and full of flavour.

The sunset from the top of a massive dune was nothing short of spectacular. And just when I thought it could not get any better, the moon rose over the desert and we hiked up another dune to take it all in from a different perspective. Seeing the desert under moonlight was surreal. Peaceful, silent, and absolutely stunning.

It was the best trip i ever been to. We had the best time ever. I visited this place in abu dhabi with my friends and god i will never forget it. We had a guide named Mohamed, he was amazing, gave us entertainment, took photos, gave us multiple possibilities to take photos, enjoy the view, enjoy the ride, be next to animals and yellow, burning sand under our feet. At first we visited the mammal’s garden, we could spend some time with them, like partners not animal vs human, it was a healing experience. Then he drove us around the desert, we felt like on a rollercoaster, music was perfect, view was divine, i couldn’t stop smiling (i still feel muscles on my cheeks) Then we took couple photos in the middle of a desert. Then in a rest place of course we drank A LOT of water, met the fastest bird in Abu Dhabi and drove on motorbikes through the sand. It was unforgettable. We had time to rest, play with sand-boards. My feet are burning, i’m sweating like CRAZY!!! but guess what it was the best day of my life and i’m so happy i can’t believe it. Now we are coming back, I recommend this place with my soul and heart. Family trip, friends, alone...
