We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cristal Hotel in Abu Dhabi for 7 nights, and we were thoroughly impressed. The hotel offered excellent value for money, especially considering the included breakfast. The breakfast buffet was diverse and oriented to various tastes, including vegetarian and vegan options. We particularly enjoyed the stunning views of the city's skyline from our 6th-floor room. The room was spacious and well-appointed, providing ample storage for two people. The staff at the Cristal Hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and were more than happy to assist with all of our requests. We were able to easily arrange a day trip to Dubai and airport transfer with the hotel's staff members. The hotel also placed a strong emphasis on cleanliness. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bed linens provided also daily. The complimentary water, coffee, tea, sugar and creamer were refilled daily. During our stay, the hotel pleasantly surprised us by offering a beautifully presented piece of cake to mark a birthday occasion. It was a small yet elegant and thoughtful touch that made our visit extra special. Good staff (almost everyone). Nice large rooms. Dangerous Parking Here is my there is a 1 or zero star for service. The lady at who is behind the breakfast ( makes the eggs)is extremely rude and disrespectful. On asking if an apple can be cut, she said you have got a knife on your table. She could have said sorry sir this is not one our tasks and if you can help yourself. The whole thing about being in hospitality business is being professional and courteous. This was low foot traffic time also and it wasn't she had her hands full. It was quite evident that other staff who were around her were cringing at her behaviour. You always have a comparitive and one bad apple ruins the whole thing. Second the parking at the hotel has this low air duct in B2 which cuts and dents your roof as you park in reverse. It's so bad that almost any car that comes in gets hit. Car roof got scratched and micro dented due to the low air/ AC ducts on parking no 006, Basement 2 at the hotel. Some parking spots have a very low clearance and it wasn't displayed clearly and two cars got the same damage due to the faulty design. Other car was damaged in the same way. We informed the hotel concierge the next morning and he took pictures too in the morning. After reporting this, they also displayed on various spots to not back car in reverse. How is this fair...
