Bristol And Bath Railway Path — Local services in Bath

Went for the whole trail and loved it! Took us about 6 hours with stopping in the middle! The weather was lovely so it was easy to stop at couple of places to rest but only one toilet in Warmly available so having some signs on other toilets available could be helpful.

There was more bikers than walkers so some paths needs caution to wait for cyclists and walkers to share the path. The end of the path (bath) is poorly labelled so in the end of the trail there is about 3 km more to the bath station. There were some lovely views in middle points with fields and horses and cows around.

Some of the initial signs in bristol are all vandalised so having a new signs will be helpful. I really enjoyed it and would love to try it again in different season but more small signs posts on the history of the trains and the path could...

As a walker, we had a really pleasant day and enjoyed the varied scenery the path had to offer. We went on a weekday and, from reading other reviews, would also avoid walking on weekends. It wasn’t very busy with cyclists but I can see how it gets risky as the path can be narrow at times. Don’t let that stop you from making the most of this path though! Great but easy walking/cycling path, used to go cycling on my lovely Peugeot bike from Bristol, the base town in my old days, to explore Bath. Saw refreshing greenery and met wonderful people on the way and few decades have passed since. Lots of unforgettable moments in such a short period, just a few months in my twenties, filled with a few precious good memories as well as some bad and embarrassing ones.
