A proper old fashioned pub. Where pub games are played and good priced drinks are served. Friendly locals and atmosphere. One of my favourite places to go. Popped in for a pint at midday on Sunday, and was immediately impressed by the friendly atmosphere and relaxed chatter. Football was on the TV at either end of the pub for those that wanted to watch, at a perfect volume so it wasn't at all intrusive for those that didn't, and the pint of Thatcher's Dry was reasonably-priced and delicious.
