I stopped at Clinique counter to test their lipsticks while I was doing in front of their counter mirror , there was nobody and Asian Chinese staff was talking to her colleague and walking but as soon as she saw me she was stopped and looked up me strangely not just once a couple times so I asked her simple question why did she keep looking at me ? I felt uncomfortable and unpleasant since I was not doing anything in hidden or weird way . She was like no I am not looking up you and then , she talked to her colleague about me right in front of my face so I told them about what did happen? Her colleague told me this could be miscommunication and sorry so I accepted her saying and I said no worries and then I moved across their counter to see the mirror but she dragged security by was talking to him and pointed at me so I went in front of them asking what is happening since I saw you pointing at me ? She was like I was rude to her and asking like why did she looking at me ? Whole time , she was the one who was really rude toward me raising her voice , I told her donāt raise her voice and i canāt accept this type of rude behavior and attitude and I knew that Chinese staff canāt regulate nor control her emotions properly not just for professionalism so I talked to manger about how this was unacceptable service and behaviour of her. So I told manager that she canāt communicate properly and speak English really well so I knew I put it in wrong way but my intention was still right as I was pointed it out the truth as customer and the whole situation if she communicate me properly, this wonāt gone further to this stage . All of them are like you canāt talk to her like that . Okay but they also witnessed that how she carried out her emotions and spoke toward me is acceptable??? I told them I can apologize to her if I put it in wrong way cuz I can take my responsibility but what I told was true as customer my experience and my opinions are valid and then she interrupted me with I am not their customer excuse me I was shopping at boots for long time compare to superdrug even though they are more cheaper. Only at that stage , her manager looked back at her , and told her something . But before that, the whole time while she was saying disrespectful stuff , she let her threw those words toward me. She said like she was not disputing your words , I were cautious about theft , but what did I do wrong here? I asked her to forward this case to take proper action but what she said was she will look up at CCTV and talked to her and gave training to her ??? She is far far away from acting professional at her job and only this ? I am telling she has lots of attitude or confidence like she was not bother of the outcomes of her actions !!! Manager told me they are not boots staff but they are Clinique staffs which I knew but they are also still working under boots right and I told her again about her actions since I felt that manager was not on my side as I was kept saying I was going circle and rushing up her sayings cuz I even have to asked her to let me spoke like what ?? so I was disbelief and disappointed about it and told her I canāt believe boots service is really low . I will never ever shop at boots...

After checkout I found that the amount I paid was wrong, so I wanted to return the product directly on the first floor. As a result, a staff member in blue who was not the cashier looked at the receipt and told me that I had already enjoyed the discount...but the receipt showed Ā£3.5 + Ā£6.5 and then minus Ā£1 (I guess this may be another offer) which is obviously ā five pounds. Note that I have shown her the 2 for Ā£5 discount photo I took before this, but she interrupted me before I finished, and said she would look at the receipt. After she said I had enjoyed the discount, I showed her the photo again, I don't know if she really looked at it carefully. I want to ask if the discount of 2 for Ā£5 cannot be used because the two products are not exactly the same. I want to refund and re-buy, but she always interrupted me and insisted that I had enjoyed all the discounts so can not return the product! And she even said that the price of the second item in the receipt (6.5 pounds) was the price after including the price of the first item (3.5 pounds). To be honest , I don't quite understand why she said that, which is obviously not correct. Then I took out the photo for the third time, anyway, she once again claimed that it is correct! I don't know why she believes in herself so much, and I don't know if she thinks I am Asian and discriminates against me, but for sure, she does not respect me! After that I went to the second floor, I found another staff in white clothes and a hat to confirm again, and he solved the problem very well. The other staff members were very patient about the refund before, but this time my experience was very bad! Of course, except for this blue suit staff, the rest of the staffs...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen we went into lockdown, I was due to collect my prescription from the pharmacy. I wasnāt able to on the day I was told it would be ready 23/03/20. I rang late afternoon on 01/04/20 and explained that I wasnāt able to pick it up on the due date but I would make every attempt to come in the following day to do so. I stated that I donāt drive and didnāt want to chance getting on either the bus nor in a cab so will need to walk in and asked what would be the best time. I was told that as long as I avoid coming in 1-2pm as they were closed then Iāll be fine. I finished the call by saying that I will do my best to collect it then. At no stage was I told that prescriptions get destroyed after 4 weeks nor was the home delivery mentioned nor offered to me.
Feeling a bit safer about going into the city centre (1st time since the lockdown began), I ventured in today by walking only to be told the prescription has been destroyed and I canāt get the medication. I donāt begrudge the walk as it felt good, but I am greatly annoyed at the service delivered by Boots as the fact that thereās a time limit on prescriptions could have been relayed when I rang in to say I would attempt to pick this up. Additionally, the person I dealt with today placed the blame solely on me as she informed me that I should have asked for a home delivery - I guess this is something that I should know without being told.
I use this store for its convenient location between the office and my bus stop to home. Definitely wonāt be using them again. Not that they care as the lady shrugged when I stated I wonāt continue to use...
