Food was delicious BUT RESTRUANT STANK LIKE P*SS. And that says it all really. Food was served hot and juicy at the perfect temperature but was really put off how the restaurant by the downstairs napkin dispensary and bins smells of urine. Finally they have self service machines too. Please. I know you can do better. Clean your restruant and continue the tasty hot food.

FURTHER PANDEMIC UPDATE: Upstairs dining area is now open for food for half price during all of August. Service was once again SUPER FAST and the was pipping hot and super fresh tasting and very clean. Hope this amazing service can continue well beyond the pandemic. Extensive regular cleaning could also be seen done by staff. If there is a KFC in Bristol to go to, this is the one!

I've been to this establishment a few times whilst visiting Bristol, and this is the first time I have found myself disappointed enough to change my initial review... The service was a logistical mess, some staff lounging about whilst others run around trying to get orders out within a reasonable time. This ends up leading to order numbers being called out, but only half the order being ready. Alongside this, the passive aggressive responses to customer questions from staff is not necessarily and may not be taken lightly by some... It's not a good look on the staff and management, especially in an establishment as large as KFC, and it's certainly not fair on those who are working hard to try and maintain good customer service. To add to this, I have seen other reviews regarding the conditions of the bathrooms, and they are not wrong. The state of them feels extremely unhygienic to use, and would suggest that a rota is probably not in place, and if there is, standards are not adhered to when cleaned. Food is about as standard as it gets for KFC, it’s pretty decent, but goodness gracious have I had it with the incompetently lazy and rude staff, I came to the KFC with two of my mates to get lunch, my mate had just missed his order and 2 minutes after ordering came up to politely ask if his order was there, but a man at the til gave him a stern lecture saying that he’d been waiting for 10 minutes to give him his food (which was an obvious hyperbole) and it was really just unnecessarily rude for no apparent reason, after we left I forgot I needed to get my girlfriend food, so I went and got her food on the way, while receiving my food the worker slammed my food down and went back to talking to her coworkers without any care for anything else, I arrived home to find the chips portion that I was given consisted of the smallest portion I had ever seen, I was able to put all the chips in 1 hand for a medium size.
