Expensive, no shade so if it’s hot expect your kids to be melting in the queues waiting to get on the rides. A few rides broke down when we were there, one with small children trapped on it. Food was mediocre and pricey. Only two staff we spoke to were nice and chatty all the rest were grumpy and extremely rude. No signs where to go for parking so that was fun to find. Poorly executed.
The kids had some fun, but it was definitely a visit once and never return especially for £108, I had to pay £5 for my baby to go in even tho he physically couldn’t go on any rides as he’s under a year. I don’t see why they charge for non riders especially babies as most places under 3 are free.
Toilets are pottyloos so they are DISGUSTING.
There’s loads of stalls like hook a duck etc which cost a lot, as well as bungee trampolines £5 each child and face painting which also cost extra so if you think you won’t be spending money after spending loads to get in your mistaken.
You need certain bands to go on certain rides or to ride together. The rides are not labeled as you go round so you have no idea what you can or can’t go on unless you get the unlimited band (which means you can go on everything)
Expect to queue ALOT. Which can be really difficult for younger children.
Over all I found it tacky. Wouldn’t recommend.
Also we pre booked which meant nothing at all as there was no pre booking line so still had to queue for 10/20 minutes to get in. Seemed pointless pre booking if all the lines for getting in are the same.
It looks great on social media but in reality...
Read moreExpensive prices = The £22 ticket. Even if they're just kids. My niece is barely 5.
We almost all bought the £18 ticket. (7 adults 1 children Just 5 years old, and a baby just 4 months = (6x18£)+22£+22£= 152£) Only two of us paid £22. My brother wanted to go play and sit with his daughter next to him. Because it says "free rider," the guy at the game said she didn't have the £22 bracelet. That afternoon, my partner had the yellow £22 bracelet. I wanted to sit next to him, and I had the £18 bracelet. And yet they told me I couldn't sit with him. But my friend, who also had the £18 bracelet, was able to get into that game. So what's the logic?. The worst experience. If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. The staff generally seemed grumpy. Only two people were kind to us: a young man playing the toad game, and a woman playing a slow game for toddlers, since we had a baby. We went with family and friends like I said before. After this experience, we simply do not...
Read moreTook my two brothers and I paid £66. Extremely expensive and staff on rides are rude. Every year life been going to thunderworld and it was probably around £15 pp. However the worst experience was around the time and date 16:12 on Thursday 10th. My 7 yr old brother is autistic and went on the blizzard beach slide for kids. The member of staff supervising the kids told my brother off then me infront of the adults then proceeds to go to another adult and badmouth me and my brother saying he needs to be put people in their place, aka scolding my brother. Surely if your surprising kids ride you should have more patience! I hope thunderworld staff are careful with who they let on kids rides to supervise. Deeply disappointed proper waste of money...
