With regards to a previous review on here: I love the "tired" decor - it is real and adds to the atmosphere. A proper pub, not one of those sterile and glossy drinking places that leave your soul wanting for more. The mix of drinkers in here is wonderful and using the jukebox is like playing Russian roulette - you never know if the tunes you have selected will burst out of the speakers. The Sunday roasts are homely and if you like a good selection of veg, and a seriously good helping of gravy, you are in the right place.
