Miss Millie’s – Chicken and Shakes — Restaurant in Bristol

Excellent place, normally order online and have it delivered because I'm lazy like that but I was driving nearby and decided to drop in.

The shop is easy to spot, has a large gas station just across the street and is right next to a pub! Score!

Parking can be a little touch and go but is generally fine.

The shop is well maintained, extremely clean and bright. The staff are super friendly and took the order promptly and were not afraid to have a little chat whilst I waited, which was a nice experience.

Food was done quickly and it wasn't long before I was back out the door with my food and heading home.

Was a little bit dumbstruck to see a customer try to order sea food from a fried chicken shop...

Food was perfectly cooked and oh-so-scrupulous. Yum yum.

I would love for Miss Millies to offer boneless fried chicken with melted cheese on top, I would probably end up buying shares if...

Oh, my. KFC definitely have competition. At least with the Blackboy Hill branch in Bristol.

The burgers are just like you'd expect in a television advert. Well put together and very tasty! Fries, strips, gravy and extras are generally tasty, too. However, there have been rare occasions where, for example we've had a very dry piece of chicken or strip. But the overall experience with this branch has been very positive, and I would certainly recommend to anyone with a fried chicken craving!

I love Miss Millies but I will not be ordering from this particular location again.

Our takeaway turned up minus a couple of items, so naturally I rang to restaurant. The woman I spoke to clearly thought I was trying to get one over on them. So when the missing food arrived 45 minutes later I was concerned about the possibility of it having been tampered with, and it turned out my concerns were warranted. A dirty great hair!
