You cannot pass by Edinburgh and not visit one of the most beautiful castles in Scotland, UK and probably Europe. You will understand a lot of history. The sceneries are magnificent. You will need around 3 hours to spend in this venue and visit its museum. A lot to do around the castle when you finish your tour in the royal mile. So enjoy spending a full day in the area. Get your tickets online, easier. It is only a 15 minutes walk from down town Edinburgh.

Great Edinburgh and very well maintained by Edinburgh for tourist attractions. Beautiful, breath taking views from the castle of the Edinburgh city. Inside views of the castle was awesome and it's interesting to see how people lived few hundred years ago. If you are in Edinburgh, this Castle is definitely a place you will never want to miss. (Please like my review if it was helpful and if you would like me edit then please suggest edit).

I really enjoyed the night I spent at this hostel. The Brazilian receptionist Luiz received me very well and the next day when he wasn't there, Christian was patient waiting for me to use the translator to get information. I liked my room and the facilities are amazing. I felt safe and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I'll be back soon.

Best Hostel ever. Staff were all very welcoming, helpful and lovely. Allowing guests access to all facilities on the day of check in, plus luggage storage. Organised events every night, with other hostels, allowing solo travellers to mingle with others. In the most central location, very easy to see all of the city. It was my first solo holiday, and the community at Castle Rock made it not feel so lonely. Couldn't recommend this...
