The best kebab I have had in Scotland in 25 years. In fact I was shocked it took these Kurdish guys to come here for me to able to eat what I used to eat as a youngster in paris. Doner is garbage compered to this. Real meat, real flavors, don't go if you're used to aseptic food, or artificial flavoring, it won't work for you. Ate there already 4/5 times with friends and as a family, yeah not much of an atmosphere, but you wouldn't really go for that anyway and the main guy is very friendly, as are the others so far as I am concerned. This place opened just a few days ago and because of that reason, small mistakes can happen (Forgetting drinks or the hoods not being strong enough for the fumes).

Doesn't ruin the fact that their shawarma is by far the best one I've ever tasted in Edinburgh. The meat is not like the typical döner kebab meat that you find in most of the kebab shops here. I am Turkish and I can honestly say our Kurdish brothers do it better. Their wrap is freshly baked upon order. Staff was very friendly and apologetic.

We stumbled upon this grill looking for a different place. I’m so happy we found it! I had the absolute best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in years. I had the mixed shawarma platter. It was fresh and delicious. The naan was cooked to order. The owner brought us some lentil soup while he fixed our meal it was also delicious. The service was gracious and friendly.
