China Garden — Local services in Coventry

Absolute disgrace now. Over 20 years using them since they were in the little shop by Londis. Sent a wrong dish after waiting 90 minutes to get told we will send the right dish but they're busy.. so we eat all the other food stone cold with one warm dish? The lad answering the phone needs to find another job because he has zero people skills, asked for money back and he rang asking for my bank details!!!! Avoid as it's not the same place.

Still waiting on them to pick there food up and give me money back!!!!

After another 2 calls to pick there food up and refund it's now 3 hours all in.

Last update, ordered from somewhere else had been delivered and eaten.

20 minutes later dude turns up not a care in the world how long weve been using them gave me money back MINUS the tip I gave 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and away he went. If your that busy your losing long term customers HIRE ANOTHER DRIVER. ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. Never again, new place was quick... cheaper.......

Haven't used this place since the last time we tried to get delivery . Got treated very badly .after the driver 5 times took our food to a different address everytome taking at least 20 min to explain he has the wrong house. But due to unprofessional. Rude staff .this matter resolved in the blame put to us . And barred . I had no complaint apparantly because the driver said she kept sending him to the same postcode/address after 1st time of wrong adresses. And expected to eat our food cold and 2 hours travelling. When we lived not even 10min away . . . Previously. Not got out delivery. .when I asked the day after what happened she said we had no order 🙄 well since the lovely owners of the shop left /retired and now run by younger generation . It's a shame after using this since day of opening . It's sad to us . Very...

I was just passing by after dropping a friend home so I nipped into China Garden for a late dinner , I ordered chicken balls in batter with curry sauce and chips so I could eat while driving. It was red hot and good portions except the curry sauce was the smallest portion I've ever had from a Chinese. The chicken balls are a good size I couldn't eat them all and saved five in my fridge to reheat in my air fryer the next day. The chips were nice and a good portion. I will definitely use this Chinese again when in the area. It's unusual for a Chinese takeaway to be in such a lovely old building, it's lovely...
