Potbelly — Restaurant in Coventry

Last Saturday, we were driving past and decided to pull over to try Potbelly for the first time. We were glad we did!

The man who served us was polite and friendly. I liked the way he prepared the food in front of us at the counter (behind plastic screens). The place looked very clean and hygienic so it’s easy to see why it has a 5 Elite on Scores On The Doors.

There’s no seating inside, it is just a take away. This was no problem for us as we had to get going anyway. We tucked in when we got back in the car.

I don’t have the best teeth so it was wonderful to eat a crackling that was crunchy but not so hard that I thought I’d have to make a dentist appointment! The pork was definitely slow roasted as it was so tender. The stuffing and the bread were nice. Oh, and how tasty were the roast potatoes and gravy! DIVINE!

Two pork and stuffing batches and one side of roast potatoes came to £10.50. This was good value for money considering how many potatoes we got for £1.50.

The only thing I would change is the packaging. It was good that the fork was wooden but the food was in a polystyrene box which was then wrapped in foil. Is there biodegradable packaging that could have been...

Can easily say best pork, stuffing and apple batch in Longford, also the best in Coventry, also the best in Warwickshire, and easily further afield. The meat is unbelievably tender and juicy, the bread is also soft yet strong. Stuffing and apple combo is fantastic, and the roast potatoes and gravy are to die for… if only they were open christmas day to serve roasties! may seem a little on the expensive side for a quick takeaway lunch, but worth every single penny. 5 out of 5,...

Every time the boss buys us lunch, it's always from Pot Belly without question! On our most recent occasion, they arranged 17 x meals for us with the BEST service ever-quickly and efficiently!
