When Nashaa went out of business. I was really sad and wondered what would take it's place. Nashaa had big shoes to fill and a burger place was a big change from Indian cuisine.
I am so glad Stack'd arrived.
The quality of the food and friendliness of the staff are fantastic. I wish I took better photos. But the smell and looks of the food were so good, my family just dug right in and I tried to get the best pictures I could.
Fries - good portion size, cooked and seasoned properly.
Beef loaded fries - the best I ever had. Normally with loaded fries, they are loaded on the top only. I've never had such a generous portion of fries and toppings. Every bite was loaded with the beef, cheese, sauce, etc.
Buffalo Chicken Burger - great flavor and quality.
Philly cheese stack and extra buttermilk chicken - great seasoning and taste. The buttermilk chicken was so big is was hanging out of the bun.
Ferrer Roche milkshake (not pictured ) - really good and we finished them so fast I couldn't take a picture.
Fish sandwich - again, one of the best I've ever had. A big piece of fish and well cooked.
Stack'd Burger - the best smash burger I've had. It was so big I had to take it apart. I took the egg, chicken breast and macaroni cheese bites off. I just left the burger in the bun and that was probably the tastiest burger I've had. The sauce was great and it was a great size. If the normal burger is like this, that is great value.
As it was opening day, we wanted to try different products. I'm glad we did because now we know what their menu and quality is like.
Pros - good food, good service, good staff, competitive pricing.
Cons - none
It was opening weekend so they were working out a few logistics which made the wait long BUT I don't put this as a con as I believe this will be sorted out in the next few days.
I highly recommend Stack'd and look forward to our next visit. The staff and owners are great and I am glad we have a great burger restaurant...
Read moreThis is not a review i ever thought i would make about a place i have enjoyed so many evenings in and curries from and the staff have always felt like old friends , i have been a massive fan of this establishment for a few years now ..... BUT ... today as a treat my partner drove to get me a take away because we do not live close by and we had access to a car when we don't normally , it a long wait as apparently despite being open from 5 you can't order straight away (you would think they would be ready to go at 5) , the curry i received was heavily smelling and tasting of lemon but then as i went on to eat i also realised quickly the chicken was pink on the inside so not only did it taste foul is was under cooked chicken inside it i was so upset i rang up and all i was told is i am very sorry there is nothing i can do but offer you a free curry the next time you are here so after spending the best part of £20 on my meal i now have nothing to show for my money other than a nan bread and some rice , I'm disgusted, out of pocket and left...
Read moreLived around the corner from Nashaa for 7 years and always loved it. The restaurant has been recently refurbished (a couple of times) and expended with a conservatory out the back. The food has always been immense and now the restaurant has decor and space to match and cope with the demand.
The staff are alway extremely polite and helpful without intruding and the price considering the quality is very good. You can find cheaper curries, but not necessarily better ones. Places like Turmeric gold offer the location but cannot compete with the flavour of Nashaa or the service.
I have now moved away from the area, and have not found anywhere near as good as Nashaa for the whole experience. Glad I am going back for a...
