The centre offers a range of fitness activities and classes, including a gym, swimming pool, group exercise classes, and sports courts. The gym has a good range of equipment, including cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights.
The swimming pool is 25 meters long and has lanes for swimming laps. There is also a separate children's pool for younger swimmers. The centre offers swimming lessons for all ages and abilities.

It is important to consider privacy concerns when it comes to sharing pictures of people swimming. In many cases, individuals do not want their images shared publicly without their consent, especially in situations where they may be in a state of undress or wearing swimsuits.
Sharing images of people swimming without their consent can be a violation of their privacy rights, and can also be seen as inappropriate or intrusive. Even if the individuals in the photos are not identifiable, it is still important to respect their privacy and not share their images without their consent.
Furthermore, many swimming centres have policies in place that prohibit photography or video recording within the facility. This is done to ensure the privacy and safety of all patrons, and to prevent any potential misuse of images or videos taken within the facility.
In order to respect the privacy of all individuals and to abide by facility policies, it is best not to include pictures of people swimming in reviews of swimming centres or facilities. Instead, it is more appropriate to focus on the amenities and services offered, as well as the overall experience of using the facility.
Overall, the Woodford Leisure Centre is a well-equipped and modern facility that offers a range of fitness activities and classes. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the centre is accessible for people with disabilities. If you are looking for a fitness centre in Hull, the Woodford Leisure Centre is definitely worth...
Read moreDecent amount of equipment but if you want to use the gym you have no choice but to go in the morning which is perfect place to start with my reasoning for only 3 stars. The opening hours and timetables. Gym is packed in the evenings and honestly a waste of time going with the intention of using anything other than the treadmills and bikes. I try and go in the mornings but working in the city centre at 9am itâs not worth going for half an hour, showering and rushing to try and get to work on time. I primarily joined to be able to use the classes which realistically if you have a job are of no use since all classes seem to be during the day so only catering for a select few groups. The opening times are baffling, closing 4pm on a Saturday and Sunday?? Donât be fooled by their website telling you itâs âsummer hoursâ and they are open late on weekends.. As I work on a Sunday and have childcare commitments until 5pm on a Saturday, my membership is summed up as follows: â˘Canât use it at all on a weekend â˘Work full time so canât use any of the classes which seem to be ran during the day â˘Not really much point in going in the evenings unless itâs for cardio â˘Isnât really enough time to go before work in the mornings â˘Public swimming⌠letâs stick that on during the day when most people are at work too :) unless I fancy going at 8pm on a Thursday night
If it were closer, Iâd pay the extra money and go to the village 2 stars would be unfair as there are some pros to Woodford, but unfortunately for someone whoâs paying to use everything and realistically only has access to half of it itâs not worth continuing...
Read moreVisited for the first time today since the refurb. Only visited the main pool so cant comment on the rest of the building. The pool area itself was bright, clean and well looked after. There were 2 lifeguards on while I was there. The smaller pool looked to have plenty of things for children to play with such as pool noodles and toys. I would've prefered to have the pool laned off for ones who want to swim faster or slower so your not getting in peoples way. Im not a huge fan of the unisex changing area. Its a big enough room that it coud have easily been separated. I had a shower and didnt feel particularly comfortable walking around in my towel with men around. Also the showers wernt great, im an average height for a woman and the spray (which couldnt be redirected) was directed towards the door so was only hitting my shoulders and head so everytime i turned around to press the button to start the shower (which only seemed to last about 10 seconds before it had to be pushed again) it hit me straight in the face! Im not sure how anyone smaller than me would manage to shower, i dont think i could shower my 5 year old in there. Having said these few negatives the building seems clean and looks better than it did before and the membership is reasonably priced so i will be returning, I just think I'll wait until i get home...
