Wow what can I say about Eurasian. We walked in to be greeted by a waiter who actually looked like he actually wanted to be at work, and was proud to be working at this establishment.
We still were cautious being used to the best home cooked curries. We were looking for something exceptional, we didn't even have to open the menu as the waiter was at hand and had recommendations for us. We went with his recommendations.
Starters: Fish Masala - The taste was phenomenal, soft as you like, balanced spice and crispy. Absolutely loved it!
Starters: Stuffed Pepper- delicious freshly made keema stuffed in Pepper. The combination of keema and peper brings a mouth watering taste. Really enjoyed it.
Mains: King prawn biryani - we all agreed, this was a one of the best Indian dishes we ever had. Finest basmati rice cooked perfectly, not too soft or not too hard. Truly big sized king prawns marinated with tandoori sauce which tasted extra special.
Karai chicken potatoe with naga - now this dish was exceptional, the taste of home! Lovely pieces of chicken perfectly cooked served on a karai. We asked to add naga chilli, which is considered one of the spiciest chillis. The aroma of this dish is next level. We would recommend this dish if you are looking for authentic spicy chicken curry.
Tarka dhall - buttery with ghee and the taste of fresh toasted garlic the perfect side dish
Egg fried rice - perfect kernals of rice cooked in butter with egg and garlic. Very tasty the rice was perfectly cooked not too soft and not hard as in other restaurants.
Garlic Roti - plenty of fresh garlic and butter, perfectly soft in the centre and the outside was crispy.
Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic home style...
Read moreVery tasty and authentic curry flavours spoilt by the meat quality.
This place was recommended to us by friends who knew we are curry lovers. We went on a Sunday night and the place was not very busy. We didn't order starters and went for the mains only. I ordered a curry made with lamb, chicken and kebab, and my wife ordered a different curry with chicken and vegetables.
Both curries were distinctly different (unlike some other so-called curry houses), full of flavour, pungent and fabulous. Alas, the quality of the meat left a lot to be desired. The lamb was strangely diced in perfect cubes and was exceptionally tough and chewy, whilst the chicken was dry, hard and lacked succulence. Clearly, the meat was cooked before hand, perhaps the day before, allowed to go cold and dry out, then added to the curries. Even the kebab was the same!
If the chef is reading this, I would ask him/her to make sure that the meat is cooked freshly and succulent, and they will earn 5 stars easily.
Would we go back. Yes, if only for the excellent curries and hope they took heed of our remarks. If that's the case, I'll be more than happy to amend...
Read moreWe visited here as a family of 10. I didn't like food. I got prawn puree to start, and it looked and tasted like slop. I didn't eat it. This is the dish I always get when I eat out at curry restaurants. And I've never seen it like this. My curry that I ordered was tasteless. The lamb was very chewy, and very little of it in the curry. The papadums tasted stale. 6 out of the party of 10, where ill the next day. The nan bread and rice were nice. The staff were pleasant enough, and the service was good. But I will not...
