Went here to meet a friend one night but ended up ordering food too. Ordered pizza, which was but one get one free. The cook made the complete wrong pizza. We asked the bar staff if we could have our pizzas in the box so we could take away because we knew we wouldn’t eat 2 full pizzas. Sara happily obliged and took the boxes upstairs of which the ‘cook’ then said “we don’t do takeaway pizzas” and made the staff on shift throw what remaining pizzas boxes they had left, away.

Surely if you buy something it’s your right to take away the rest you don’t eat, I mean you have paid for it, right !!

Sara was a great help on our visit and sorted our wrong order out straight away.

From this visit I got that the “cook” was miserable and needed to take that massive chip off his shoulder. Sara was fab that night and the quiz was a great end to a rubbish start from a “cook” with a massive attitude !!

Will defo drink there again but as for food, definitely not.

He needs to alter his attitude talking to staff the way he did...

Went in for a drink and meal on Saturday, with a few friends lucky they managed to fit us in. We got asked if we were paying together i said seperate the order was quick. We had a nice meal but was not happy that the drink that ordered with the meal which was wine was changed on the receipt for the cheaper option of diet coke. On payment a young waitress speeded over mumbled which I couldn't hear her as I'm hard of hearing but neither could our friends. But when other waitress to come over to take seperate payment for other meal, to find out that the young waitress took payment for all 3 meals. This was sorted by declining last payment, She came back and I was paying for my friends and eye rolled at me thinking you said you wanted pay seprate, which was true but she could of asked me to do 2 seperate transactions which I wouldnt of minded. Great food but service needs some...

The Mill pub is in the old buildings attached to the the former flour Mill owned by ranks. J r rank was born here in 1854, this was one of 21 mils operating in Hull at the time. He went on to build a flour milling empire and create the rank film company. The pub is quite large with plenty of seating if a group of you are having a meal. The food is very good and reasonably priced the margherita pizza is to die for and the the two main meals for ten pounds is fantastic value, it is cheaper to have fish & chips here than from my local chip shop. No pub games darts or pool. Most importantly for a pub it has a selection of hand-pulled real ales. I have always found the beer to be well kept and excellent quality, and the staff very friendly. Small car park to the side of the pub, plenty of outside seating. Highly...

Just a catch up with old workmates, a couple of pints, one pal had the latte ( driving) I had the carling, another mate had the morreatti ( not sure of that spelling) . Reasonable price drinks, great ambience about the place, friendly staff, large outdoor area for drinking, with beautiful view of the old mill( previous building workplace) Well worth a visit.

Good pub for a drink, but I'll be swerving the food in future. Fish goujon wrap, the chips were thicker than the tiny 3 fish goujons. Also realised afterwards that we weren't given the slaw that was supposed to come with the wraps. Kids pizza, judge for yourself from the photo.
