I’ve always loved coming to this cafe for brunch so we booked a joint 30th birthday party here for my husband and I on a Saturday night. Sam was incredible from beginning to end, couldn’t have offered more help and answered any queries we had & was there on the night to help with anything we needed at all but also left us to it. We pretty much had free rein to decorate the cafe and could really make it our own as well as bring in caterers, the interior of the cafe really added some gorgeous aesthetics for the party, too! So this refers to the cafè. Great food good value but expect to pay 10-11quid per breakfast and coffee/tea. Vegan and veggie also catered for. Ordered the bacon and french toast(?)with Maple syrup.Massive portion at 7.50 .. .ideal for post night out recovery or heart attack. Probably should of put syrup in a jug for personal portion and taste control. In rectrospect ask if it could be made in future as a smaller portion for child.Answer no we dont do that.Little taken aback so maybe a re think 🤔 as although good value ....quite a calorie count which is well enough for an adult. Ate at the Black Swan today for the first time. I had a veganised version of turmeric patties which was pretty grim. A dubious coconut product was passed off as a substitute for bacon, indescribable... dish was cold and pretty unpleasant. Ordered coffee with oat milk.
