Alrhough we enjoyed our meal we cant rate service..the girlscwho served us were lovely however the Male member of staff was very ignorant. One of the diners arrived earlier than us and he was asked..what do you want in an abrupt tone..when he said he was part of booking he grunted and pointed to the table.A table behind us was extremely loud but nothing was said..on paying the bill we were at bar dividing up as were 3 separate players.. one of the noisier table approached bar..no mask and was told by the rude Male member I cant serve you just now till this lot are sorted..then although I included a tip with my payment I did not point this out and no change was offered by him..he just assumed change was tip..I tipped because the female staff were helpful not him..can not fault food however the soup was extremely hot and burnt my mouth.took a small spoonful and took skin off roof of mouth to the extent that 5 days later my mouth is still painful.have been many times for a meal however dont think we...

Look. It is what it is. It's a very popular venue with locals, loads of space, always full so the staff have their work cut out for them. You could say though that the staff need perhaps extra bodies or extra training to handle the volume of custom they receive. Food came out all in a jumble, the aperol spritz I received was absolutely not how you make an aperol spritz, my main when it arrived was entirely not worth the price and you would question why 'tempura' was in fact just a plate of chips and onion rings. We were shocked by the bill total, even though it was correct because we just did not feel the price was justified. However it is kid friendly, it was an especially busy weekend so allowances can be made for the chaos and it is evidently popular so they must get other things right. I think it'd be suitable for a beer and watching the football but not perhaps for a meal, and certainly not over a...

We only found this pub as we were staying at the Mecure Hotel (not great) It's a little away from other pubs and restaurants. Friendly people, great service and good food. After a couple of drinks we sat down in the restaurant area. The value menu 2 courses for just under £14.00 looked perfect.

I ordered Penne Bolognaise and my partner ordered Chicken Fajitas Halfway through we swapped dishes as the chicken was too spicy for my partner.

I have never tasted such amazing Fajitas. They were awesome, a little spicy and I loved it.

My only criticism would be that my pasta was slightly over cooked and lost that Al dente bite. Luckily my partner hates Al dente pasta and loved it.

The place is very well run, very clean and a great atmosphere.

I hope to return and eat outside in a lovely...

Place is amazing to grab dinner. Offers a large selection of different foods and drinks and food quality is amazing. They also offer a 2 course for a set price menu after 4pm. The place is also dog friendly what has approximately 10 dog tables inside a conservatory alongside multiple outside tables. The portion sizes were also really good and I like the fact that you can switch out the chips for curly fries (a rarity to find at places). I had the chicken tempura and curly fries which was amazing and the chocolate cake to finish off.

Popped into Smiths bar for a quick drink ended stopping for a few hours. Great place. Covered Outside seated area at the rear with the car park at the rear Drinks are reasonable priced £7.75 for a Pint of Lager and Vodka irn bru. We stopped for late lunch I had Balmoral Chicken with Whisky Sauce the Wife had traditional Fish and Chip's which both was gorgeous. I would like to thank the staff of the Smiths bar for there hard work and making our visit enjoyable. P.S. Try the Millionaire Cheesecake as the wife said "it's to die for ".
