I had high hopes when I chose this clinic for CO2 ablative laser treatment to improve my scars, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. After spending a significant amount of money and going through the painful recovery process, I have seen little to no improvement in my skin. The doctor assured me that results would take time, so I waited patiently. I was told I would start seeing improvements around eight months after the procedure, but now, two years later, there has been no noticeable difference. I followed all post-care instructions diligently, yet my scars remain unchanged. To make matters worse, when I voiced my concerns, the clinic was dismissive and uninterested in offering any real solutions. I regret trusting this place with such an expensive treatment, and I wish they had been more honest about the realistic outcomes. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone looking for genuine results. (Added photos before, meantime and after ) photos with make up are from today.

Excellent experience at Elanic Clinic for upper blepharopasty . Was also offered co-codamol or ibuprofen for pain however unable to take such pain relief, paracetamol offered in place , although none taken so far as no pain experienced. Was a seamless pain free experience and would recommend 💯 Thankyou

29/11/23 - call back from my website enquiry. Was told surgery available for mid December: "I would have to book in right away for a consult."

She said you will be in and out in afternoon. I've had cosmetic surgery before I know how I react to general aesthesia. This was scary and giving: chop shop.

30/11/23 - I called back. To pay for the consult they sent me a link to my phone. Link doesn’t work. We tried again. Link still broken. Skye says she'll send me a link to pay by bank transfer. Until payment was through she couldn’t confirm my appointment for Tuesday.

I make payment by bank transfer after the call and reply to the email asking to please let me know payment was received and my appointment confirmed.

Friday the 31st - I’ve heard nothing. Obviously, weekday, I'm busy, I didn’t expect to take out time to chase appointments; this wouldn't happen at a great clinic. They're efficient and give you confidence you are in good hands.

Elanic are closed at weekends. So make sure you never need to speak to them post surgery on a Saturday or Sunday.

Monday the 4th - I call them. Skye goes into explaining why no one got back to me. She’d booked herself to call me back on Friday but she wasn’t in on Friday, she was on holiday. It’s just baffling. I’m wondering whether she miss spoke because - why would you do that?

The email I sent asking for confirmation of my appointment was a reply to the email they had sent to me. To an Alphonsine Katat. I’m assuming whoever this person is they weren’t also on Holiday so someone could have gotten back to me to let me know my payment had gone through and my appointment was booked.

Skye doesn’t know whether I have an appointment booked or not. She says payment was declined. I remind her that yes the card link did not work so she sent me a bank transfer email. I offer to send her the receipt of the transfer, which I also sent in my initial email asking for confirmation that my appointment was booked. There’s no payment. She finds payment. She also finds the appointment.

We got there. She can’t give me a refund and cancel the appointment because she needs 48 hours notice. If that 48 hours notice applies to days Elanic is actually open and I was unable to cancel the appointment Monday morning - There weren’t 48 hours available from me calling them on Thursday at 15.00pm to me calling on Monday at 11.47am - to make a cancellation.

As I said, Elanic are closed on weekends and I was rushed into the consult, to the extent that I wondered whether they were paid per booking. Perhaps if Skye hadn’t booked herself to call me back Friday, when she was on holiday, or someone could have gotten back to my email Thursday or Friday.

It was a complete mess, just absolute incompetence. When I told Skye I did not feel safe putting my health of all things in their hands, if they can’t handle booking an appointment, I had to sit through a speech on how Elanic are the best in Scotland. I am absolutely certain that Scotland can offer better than this.

You are trusting the clinic with thousands of pounds and your body, not just the outcome, but all cosmetic surgeries have a risk. You want to be in the most competent hands from start to finish.

Skye made the point that their surgeons were the best and not associated with Elanic. This is a terrible point to make because it's through Elanic that payment will be done, appointments will be booked, before and following your surgery, and through that clinic that you will be taken care of when you are vulnerable and recovering from general anaesthesia. During that time of vulnerability you will be completely incapable of dealing with their incompetence of care towards their clients - should it arise.

Don’t take the risk - they’re not even offering a good price. There is no reason to take a chance with Elanic when you could get impeccable care and treatment from start to finish with a...

I had tear trough filler done at the clinic by nurse Felicity. Worst experience of my life. She over filled the under eye area and it was incorrectly injected. I had two bulges of filler under my eyes when i smiled and was left with blue tint under my left eye as well as two lines of fillers going down my cheeks (malar bags). She refused to see me prior to two weeks when i voiced my concerns and she cancelled my appointment without my permission. I made a complaint via email and she then decided to arrange an app with herself and surgeon McCaul. He completely dismissed my concerns and agreed treatment had been effective and refused to dissolve the filler. Felicity said dissolving the filler would "make me look 20 years older" She told me the concerns were all in my head even although all family and friends could see exactly how bad the filler looked. I then complained again and she arranged an app with Vivek the medical director. On the day Felicity failed to show up to the app due to clear guilt. Vivek agreed there was too much filler injected and agreed i looked worse than before. He told me not to dissolve the filler as it would make things worse and to keep it for 9 months until it went away itself. When i complained of the two grooves going down my face and that i didnt have them before he told me "you would have got them one day anyway" He said things are only going to get worse and refused to rectify the damage to my face or offer a solution. I then went elsewhere and paid again to have the filler dissolved after this disgusting and unprofessional treatment. I then visited Vivek again after having it dissolved and he said i was looking better. Clearly contradicting his own advice by saying things would only get worse. The clinic refused to take any blame and were only after money. There was no empathy or compassion shown when i was on the verge to tears with what my face was left looking like. The Dr who dissolved my filler told me Felicity had blocked my drainage system by incorrectly injecting the filler and it was unsafe to keep the filler. I am now left with 2 permanent grooves going down both cheeks and deteriorated under eyes due to the damage overall. I have been told by other Drs that the damage will now be hard to treat. I would either need 3-4 ml of filler to see a slight difference or fat transfer. I am now left with having to pay for additional filler for the rest of my life. The clinic did not respond to my complaint and did not even offer a refund to the least. Going to Elanic was the biggest mistake of my life. I will never get my old face back and i paid to ruin my youthful looks by this disgrace of a clinic. DO NOT go to this clinic they do not care about you. The nurses may be all chatty and sweet to your face but Felicity was completely bitter once the complaint was made and could not handle criticism. When i entered the clinic after my complaint i could feel how cold i was being treated and they didnt even offer me a drink but asked the man next to me. I feel sorry for the next persons face Felicity touches genuinely. Less small talk and more training would be best for her! Go to a doctor or surgeon for filler NOT A NURSE. They know NOTHING. A bit of cheap training within the clinic is all they go by. Disgrace. Ruining peoples lives. No wonder it so much cheaper than...

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A MEDICAL CLINIC!!! READ AND BEWARE!!! I've suffered from serious symptoms related to endometriosis for months now. After being stuck on an NHS referral waitlist for 6 months, I finally decided to go the private route and reached out to Elanic medical for a gynaecology appointment. They demanded payment of £175 up front before booking my appointment, which, by the way, wasn't for nearly another two months at the time of my booking, but it was quicker than waiting on the NHS so I agreed and forked over the money and told myself I'd just sitck it out for another two months. Over the next few weeks, they called me and forced me to reschedule my appointment TWICE to suit the doctor's needs and schedule, which was a huge pain as it meant I had to rework my whole work schedule, but again, I was desperate for this appointment so I did it. Then, this past Monday, literally four days before my appointment was finally supposed to happen, they call and leave me a voicemail at nearly 6:00 PM at night simply saying they have to cancel the appointment with no explanation. I missed the call by a few minutes but called back right away. After waiting on hold, someone who had no idea about my situation finally picked up and told me they would have someone call me back within the hour as they were technically still open until 8:00 PM, but they did not have a full reception team. I waited the hour anxiously; no call. Finally, I decided to just go straight to the clinic itself by having my husband drive me. When I get there, I see three people sitting chatting at the reception desk (which looks pretty damn close to a full reception team to me...). I tell them my situation and a woman there says it was she who called me and left the voicemail (but apparently couldn't be bothered to answer or return my call when I called back) and told me that they simply don't have a gynaecologist anymore and weren't sure when they would again, FOUR DAYS BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT!!! I am beyond furious and disgusted by this complete lack of professionalism or patient concern. My symptoms have been getting worse and worse and I spent a lot of money, waited two months, and rearranged my schedule THREE TIMES in the desperate hope of finally getting some relief, only to be fobbed off at the last minute simply becaue they apparently had only one gyneaecologist who has apparently just disappeared now with no explanation or replacement. I now have to try to get seen by yet another private clinic and wait for several more weeks or months to hopefully be seen while my symptoms continue to worsen. We all know the NHS is horrendous, joke of a healthcare system, so you would think going private would entitle you to some better quality of care. But no, in this country even private clinics like this apparently do not care at all about their patients and do not make the minimal efforts for them. If I could give negative stars I would! ELANIC, YOU ARE A COMPLETE DISGRACE AND SHOULD BE...
