I'm beyond annoyed. I went here yesterday between 6/7 and ordered a large chips, sprite, 1 pickled onion, 1 pickled egg. They charged me £10 by contactless on my phone - I couldn't hear a word the cashier was saying as she was fumbling and mumbling. I asked why I had been charged £10 as I couldn't hear a word she was saying. She said I ordered a large fish. I said I didn't I ordered a large chips could you cancel that transaction please as you've not listened to what I've ordered and you should have double checked my order If you weren't sure. She then fumbles about like a brain dead zombie and pretends to cancel my transaction because she's a little snake. If you don't know what your doing go get another member of staff. For context I used to work in a chippy - these things are not difficult. She then charges me again saying she has cancelled it. I then had to go get another member of staff as the girl serving me was completely incompetent. The new member of staff tells me that the staff at the till said I only paid once and made me pull up my payments on my banking app. It was only then that I got my £10 refund in cash. Absolute joke. The staff member at the till was then going "oh sorry" repeatedly. She should be fired. Repeatedly lying to customers and not handing out refunds where refunds are due because your too incompetent isn't acceptable. Edit * I spoke to the manager the next day and the owner after that. Both were very professional and apologetic. The manager sent a cash refund round to us with another driver and the owner phoned me personally to apologise. * Ordered food at 8.20pm, phoned at 10pm when it hadn't been delivered, spoke to 3 different people, two of whom assured me that it had been delivered. Told me they had double checked my address and argued with me about where I live. Was told I couldn't get a replacement order and would have to wait till the next day for a refund cos they didn't know how to...

Excellent choice of food on menu. As I haven't tried everything, can't comment on it all. Noticed that PRICES have gone up, most of them about the same. Mainly have been having fish, sausage, steak pie, fritters and chips (family). We usually get suppers. Only problem has been trying to finish them lol. Normally have had to wait on the fish, so we know that they are just cooked, so can't complain there.
