The meal arrived and the sauce was missing, I called and they told me they would send the driver round with it. We started to eat the meal minus my sons as he was missing the sauce to his chicken balls. We all finished and it still had not arrived!!! I called again and the male firsly was very sorry but kept saying the he would send the driver, I tried to explain the chicken balls were cold and he accused me of wanting a full refund. This was not the case I just wanted fresh chicken balls with the sauce as that is what I had paid for. The male I spoke to was extremely rude and argumentative. He did send the driver round with the fresh chicken balls and sauce, and when I opened the door the driver was rude. I shall not be ordering from here again. Bring back the owner of Cods Kitchen they new what customer care...

Ordered from here to try somewhere new. Never again! After an hour and 15 minutes no food arrived. I called them to be told my order was out for delivery but the driver was delayed because he had broken down earlier on. I was called back 10 minutes later to be told that the driver had broken down again and my food would be 20 minutes. I asked if they were sure but was told that they didn’t know because he wasn’t back yet and they hadn’t started cooking my order-obviously some lying here somewhere. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t have one onto my card because I ordered online and they didn’t know how to do that. I was to go collect the cash from them. Today, my partner and I ordered something that was supposed to be Chinese food, but it was anything but. The restaurant claims to serve authentic Chinese cuisine, but nothing in this meal even came close. The Szechuan chicken arrived half-raw, swimming in what the chef apparently called "sauce," though it wasn't anything of the sort. The rice and noodles tasted like they'd been soaked in old oil, and the vegetables had gone straight to the trash. I've never eaten such bad food before. Honestly, I don't understand how anyone could cheat their customers like that, but this was definitely not Chinese food. I'm also 100% sure the kitchen was dirty—the smell of the food...
