capri-NOOO-s!!! Makes you sick!
Made the mistake of believing the fake reviews when looking for a local pizza place! Caprinos are either writing their own reviews, paying a company to write them, or the people of Crewe have no taste or idea what pizza should be!!! Deciding to have a night off from cooking, we picked the best rated pizza takeaway listed under Italian (it’s actually kebab shop pizza) spending £40 on their ‘mega deal’ the 2 pizzas (BBQ Sizzler & Veg Supreme) were both dry and lukewarm. Paying extra for stuffed crusts was a waste as these too were dry and hollow. The bases were hard and stale. Clearly prepackaged and not fresh dough. The added toppings were very scarce and of poor quality. The side orders were no better, chicken strips were lukewarm and soggy, with little flavour. Curly fries were curly, but not fried! Cold and soggy, showing they’d been sitting around for a while. The chocolate cookies for dessert were gritty and sludgy sand texture, where they hadn’t been cooked long enough. The chocolate cake we were unable to eat as were feeling ill by this point. The bottle of coke was enjoyable though, just not worth the £40 it cost to get it with the rest of the order. We have spent the 2 days after eating some of this food feeling bloated and sick, and had to throw most of the order in the bin (which is the best place for this trashy food!) PLEASE don’t waste your money at this establishment. There are many other Pizza restaurants near to this one that I’m hoping have some kind of food standards. Spend your money at one of...
Read moreSimply horrible experience there. We used to be good clients but won’t ever use them again. We ordered for delivery and 50 minutes after the wrong delivery was given to us, the deliver man took it back, to, I assume give it to the right customer - which is something you should NEVER do (we opened the boxes to check them, had them in our home not just at the door) especially with the coronavirus. We requested the right order and phoned the shop, the manager was extremely rude and unpleasant, lied about the situation. We had to beg to get our food and it was already all paid for. He had the nerves to tell us to come pick it up although we paid for the delivery already!! We requested a refund and he refused then offered only a 10% refund, and after half an hour on the phone he said 50%. LET ME TELL YOU I NEVER GOT MY REFUND. This is simply not right and not acceptable. We had no genuine apology all sweet talk, we had to wait all over again to finally get our order, we were still given Pepsi instead of Coca Cola cause I assume they gave ours to someone else. Let me add that my partner phoned the people in charge but they refused to provide a number for him to put a complaint, the man on the phone said « it’s okay we have your contact you don’t need the number » but then my partner asked what his number is and the man went blank and said « hmm your number is.. hmm what is your number » WORST SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT...
Read moreIn the realm of takeaway pizza, I'm quite the discerning connoisseur – so picky that I've practically given up on it since my last move. Yet, in the throes of a hunger-fueled frenzy, I stumbled upon glowing reviews. Against my usual indifference, I took the plunge and opted for the thin crust, accompanied by a side of salad, chicken goujons, and a sweet finale with cookies. To my delight, every element was a symphony of flavors – the dough was a taste sensation, not a hint of grease, and cooked to perfection. This pizza didn't leave me feeling like a human bread loaf. Highly rec(o)om(d)nd!
Edited - After revisiting my own reviews lol, I must confess that the accolades I hinted at aren't exactly beaming with praise. Truth be told, I placed my order on Just Eat one Tuesday night, and the shining reviews I spoke of were the latest gems I discovered on the same platform. Alas, hindsight whispers that I should've captured the culinary masterpiece with some snapshots for credibility – a missed opportunity to flaunt the delightful feast. Well, I suppose there's always next time for a...
