We visited today around 11am and it was fairly quiet when we arrived. We had to get up and find a menu as there were none on the tables and I went to order our food. As it was quiet looking and there was no mention of wait times, I assumed the food would be fairly fast. We ordered avocado on toast and eggs Benedict with 2 smoothies.

What became apparent as we waited was the cafe was clearly available to order for delivery and so these deliveries were prioritised over customers seated in the cafe.

After 20 minutes our smoothies arrived. After 30 mins I went up to the counter to enquire about our food and was told it would be another 5 minutes or so. I explained that I needed to leave so could I cancel my order, I was told I couldn’t but could take it out with me. I reluctantly agreed. After almost 10 minutes I was presented with my food which I couldn’t eat as I had to drive to an appointment so it went in the bin 2 hours later without being touched.

Whilst we were waiting for our food the cafe filled up with people (after we had ordered) and there was a constant stream of delivery drivers arriving to collect takeaway food which seemed to be prioritised over customers sitting in. The food was slow coming even for fresh cooked food, The egg was only half cooked and the beans were like they just came out of the fridge. For the rest of the food it was just about room temperature. The toast arrived when i was half way through the breakfast. The tea DIDN'T get brought down to the table until my food was finished. The tables were not cleaned for over half an hour after people left or even longer, once my food was eaten i left straight away.
