My Uncle — Restaurant in England

Food is OK and pretty standard but the service has increasing gone to the dogs over the last year or so. They seem disinterested in service and I'd suggest they get a calculator. I've had to tell them 3 times to check what they charge. 3 times they have tried to over charge me over close to 12 months. At best it's laziness and a mistake, at worse...? I also feel awkward when I challenge them, but they do acknowledge their mistake and make it right.

I'll probably give it miss for some time now until a change of staff because after 3 times, it's become tiresome doing the maths to check and it's not worth the hassle.

It's a shame as it's local...

Ordered tonight as we do regularly. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. After an hour we rang to see where the food was to which we were told, it's on its way. 30 minutes later it still wasn't here. We rang again for a follow up & were told "it's late because they had a problem with a customer & the card machine" the problem was nothing to do with our order but because we told him we had been waiting 1 hour 40 minutes he then told us "he wouldn't be delivering to us ever again." The food was only just warm. 1* is above the rating but after their shocking customer service to us for being a customer for many years now, safe to say they did...

Thought we would give this a try hoping to find a decent kebab shop but I'm afraid our food was terrible. The delivery was super quick but that's the only positive. I had the chicken and Donner naan off chefs recommendations in the menu. It was nearly £8 so I was hoping for something decent. What came was bland dry chicken in a wrap (not naan) and donner cut so thin it was like dry pieces of card. Gross.
