Honestly cannot praise MJ and the team at the Factory space enough. A really needed and exciting community space for a variety of functions and community building events, with a topping of The Performing Arts. I attend regularly now for the open mics nights on Sundays, merely for the best cup of coffee and incredible homemade cakes. MJ provides a warm reception and it is perfect, to sit in the window and watch the world go by. They also have the benefit if having much cheaper coffee and cake than nearby chains and it all tastes soo much better. Well done Team

Really looking forward to Panto 5th to 7th of December .. Alice D in Wonderland and Christmas Carol fri 20 Dec get your tickets now! Lots of other things going on, very friendly. What an amazing addition to the area. Firstly if you’re just looking for a local coffee and cake establishment then you won’t be disappointed! The chai latte is one of the tastiest I’ve tried and the lemon meringue pie is in a league of its own. Martin and his lovely team will make you feel really welcome.

Beyond this is the beginning of a really amazing use of space. I have had the pleasure of attending the first holistic fayre and Musical Theatre open mic night, both did not disappoint.

Cannot wait to see what other community events will appear as the Factory Space grows, I am planning on visiting this week just for a coffee and a mooch around the art display which is currently being showcased for a local artist.

So please do support this amazing new venture and see for yourself what a great addition this is going to be to the area. Watch this...

The Factory Space is a great community hub which features various events such as Nerd night, Musical Open Mic on a sunday, its first art exhibition by Lianne Issa and fabulous Drag nights plus much more ! There is definately something for everyone. The owners MJ and Andrew are both so welcoming and naturally caring towards their customers. The cafe area boasts good quality coffee made locally Bomo roast , and the cakes are handmade by Andrew himself, you cannot resist. For a mother like me it’s difficult to go for coffee with friends because my child would get bored easily. Bir here they have a designated area for play which includes sensory items too so very inclusive for all kids. They have The Christmas Carol coming up in december which I will look forward...

Excellent and welcoming venue run by the amazing MJ and Andrew. The Factory Space is great for many types of activities. The markets are really good with a wide variety of stalls. Open Mic (Musical Theatre) on Sunday evenings is a highlight for me. The show that I saw there was also great. I'm really looking forward to the next one. The cafe is great. Super coffee supplied by a local company and the cakes and cookies are made by Andrew and are amazing - and portions can be purchased to take home - a real treat.
