We called this place up same day for a table of eight with a highchair, they were amazing and the staff were beyond lovely and welcoming to the two children too. The decor was gorgeous and we spent time looking at the wood carvings. My son watched their fish tank while waiting for food and scoffed the complimentary prawn crackers. The menu had everything you could want and more at a great price and listed what each dish contained making it easy for one group member with dietary requirements. And wow, the food was beyond lush, so fresh, the seafood particularly was amazing. Great to try new things. All nicely presented. Puds available too. And the birthday girl tried some of their speciality gins on offer. Plus seven people and a little one munching prawn crackers fed and watered with lots of alcohol for a price that didn't give the wallet a heart attack. When we visit Bournemouth again we will be...

Wow, what a discovery! We had dinner at Sala Thai on Saturday evening, and as first-timers, we were so impressed. This truly authentic Thai restaurant delivered an exceptional experience all around. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Their menu is wonderfully diverse, and our server was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions with a smile. Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. The Honey Prawns starter, featuring perfectly deep-fried tiger prawns in a special coconut batter with a sweet honey drizzle, were a particular standout. All our main meals – the Panang Curry, Nuea Sala Thai, Duck Tamarind, and Spicy Drunken Noodles, paired with delicious coconut rice and egg fried rice – were bursting with incredible flavors. We spotted so many other mouth-watering options on the menu that we'll definitely be returning...

Lovley freshly made food, nice interior and reasonable prices. I had jungle curry with rice which was one of the hottest on the menu and yes it was very hot but the flavours still easily punched through all that heat and I couldn't stop eating it was delicious ( a with a little help of a glass of milk kindly offered by the waitress and a napkin for my tears) i ate every bit, my wife had seafood curry with sticky rice and that was also amazing she ate every bit (which is unusual for her). We shared a desert of a banana fritta and ice cream and that was very nice. All the food looked good was well presented and service was swift and professionally delivered.

Highly recommend...

Very authentic Thai restaurant. Small inside but lovely decorations. Friendly service and incredible food! I was pleasantly surprised because when we first walked in its very quiet and wasn't very busy, but after being inside a lot of people came in to pick up their takeaways. My friends had the sharing platter to start which looked amazing and they said it was delicious. We had vegetable spring rolls, vegetable red thai curry which wasn't too hot and full of flavour, coconut rice which was the nicest coconut rice I've ever tasted, and the vegetable pad thai. I can highly recommend all of these dishes and visiting this restaurant.

I love Thai food, so I am very surprised I have only just discovered this restaurant. This is a very nice traditional family run Thai restaurant. The food is perfectly cooked and flavoured. Very good service and reasonably priced too. If you like Thai food this is a must. Probably my favourite in the Bournemouth area.
