Domino's Pizza - Liverpool - West Derby — Local services in Liverpool

Ordered via the app, as usual. I then travelled to the store to ensure that the pizzas are straight from the oven and hot when arriving back home. I entered the store shortly after placing my order and stood not being acknowledged in any way at all, no eye contact or greeting, for approximately 10 minutes. The staff seemed more preoccupied with sorting out the sticker printer which had ran out of stickers. My order was showing on the screen as “Ready” stayed in that status until it just dropped off the screen. A further wait and, eventually, two boxes were placed in front of me and I was then asked my name. This I can only assume was to confirm that the right person was picking up that order! One pizza was lukewarm and the other was actually hot when I got home, couldn’t bother with returning to the store to ask for two hot pizzas, so we made do! Absolutely zero consistency. One time you ask for double cheese and get single, the next time you ask for single and get double and it’s the same with toppings. The pizzas are literally on a conveyer belt and yet somehow they still manage to come out burnt. You go in to collect your food and the staff don’t even look at you, you can see your food sitting on the hot counter for at least 10 minutes before they serve you. Delivery staff stand there on their phones when they could be giving you your order. Staff are more bothered about sorting out the delivery orders rather than the people actually standing in the shop, poor management really. Need to prioritise the customers who actually bothered to come the shop. Also charging £3 for delivery is ridiculous, the pizza’s are already expensive for...

Abysmal delivery the other night.

The whole thing with Dominoes is supposed to be you know you are getting shafted for the price of the mediocre pizza, but it will arrive fast, hot and consistent.

They seem to have binned that off now - it's exactly the same as ordering from Uber Eats. Pizza arrived 50 minutes later, stone cold, and had a weird chemical aftertaste (clearly not rinsing the equipment properly after cleaning it).

They are not using exclusively dominoes employed delivery drivers anymore that will deliver direct to you - which completely undermines what they purport to offer. They are using uber/just eat drivers to deliver your pizza now.
