We visited Moonshine Saloon in Liverpool for the Saturday night 9.30pm slot, and I must say it was deeply disappointing. • Lack of Storyline: The entire experience was supposed to be built around a Wild West storyline, but it simply wasn’t there. Any attempt at setting the scene felt forced and half-hearted. • Awkward Acting: The actors seemed to forget their roles (and even who we were!) throughout the evening. Their interactions felt clumsy and completely disengaged. • Poor Value for Money: At £50 per person, we expected an immersive experience. Instead, we spent most of the two hours playing cards alone at our table – something we could have done at home for free! • Terrible Cocktails: Despite bringing our own alcohol, we were only served one truly awful cocktail each – hardly the unique, prohibition-era drinks we were led to expect. • Overall Experience: The atmosphere was flat, the interaction minimal, and it felt like we were left to entertain ourselves. For the price, it felt more like a poorly-run bar than an immersive themed experience.
In summary, Moonshine Saloon Liverpool was an overpriced, underwhelming night out. If you’re expecting a Wild West adventure, this one sadly missed the...
Read moreThis night out was so wild, I half expected to wake up with a bounty on my head and a new identity in the witness protection program. From start to finish, it was like stepping into a Wild West movie—except with fewer tumbleweeds and way more cocktails. The staff stay in character so well, I was convinced I actually owed someone gold. Speaking of gold, we spent the night smuggling bars like outlaws, taking dangerously strong shots at a secret moonshine distillery, and trying not to get caught.
Cowboy hats and ponchos were handed out like we were being recruited for the ultimate Western heist, and let’s be real—we looked ridiculous, but in the best way possible. And just when we thought we'd gotten away with our crimes—BANG! A full-blown gunfight erupted. I still don’t know who won, but I do know those cocktails were so strong that by the end of the night, I was ready to duel my own reflection.
10/10, would absolutely risk life, liver, and moral integrity...
Read moreThis was our first experience of Moonshine and we had an absolute blast. It is a fully immersive experience right from the moment you meet the host, and you can't help but get involved. We loved how all the actors stayed in character and continued to work the room, interacting with every guest and you can't help but try out a little country slang. The bar created incredible cocktails one after another, I don't think we had an empty glass at any point. Watching the story unfold in front of you was so engaging, and hats off to the props - literally felt like we'd stepped into another time, with the cowboy hats, ponchos and the distressed playing cards etc on the tables, it was an experience we will never forget and can't wait...
