Did take this up the next Moring at reception on check out ,, This was the reply from the manager .. thank you for choosing Vignette and for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience at The Halyard Liverpool.
I would like to start by apologizing to you for the inconveniences you faced during your stay.
I do believe that my colleague offered you point by way of an apology which you declined. I have spoken with the nights team and it was an error the room service was for the room next to you. I'm sorry that the access to your balcony was breached we have barriers in place so I'm unsure to why those guests would bypass them.
We strive to make each stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and we appreciate that you brought your experience to our attention. We take feedback seriously and will coach our team to make the necessary changes so we can provide a better experience in the future.
I hope you will give us a chance by staying with us again to show you that your unsatisfactory stay was an exception.
Again, thank you for sharing your comments, and if I can be of assistance to you, please contact me directly at or vicki.mangan@thehalyardliverpool.com.
Sincerely,
Victoria...
Read moreMy wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful night at Vignette Collection The Halyard Liverpool, a IHG luxury and lifestyle brand. This charming boutique hotel is in a fantastic location. The lobby is gorgeous everything is nice, new and sparkling, beautiful and well designed with plenty of green plants creating a lush atmosphere.
All staff encountered were exceptional, the service was very warm, friendly and honest. Seamless and smooth check in process, helpful front desk both polite and efficient.
A lovely gesture of hospitality upon arrival we received a delicious welcome drink of hot chocolate spiced up with coconut rum, a positive first impression enhancing our experience. As an IHG Diamond member selected breakfast as the welcome amenity, but unfortunately complimentary upgrade was not mentioned or offered, I presume not available. Our room a Queen Deluxe was perfect, well-organized layout, stylish furniture arranged to maximise space, many lighting options, comfortable bed with luxury pillows and bed linens crisp and clean, adequate storage, with great in room amenities coffee machine, a mini-fridge, very convenient to have a selection of wine / drinking glasses, robes, slippers, luxury bath and body products by Temple Spa, everything was high quality. Lovely bathroom, large walk in shower great temperature and water pressure.
The daily breakfast served in Voyagers Restaurant was amazing, the staff were excellent and attentive. We ordered our hot beverage and hot food option with the waiter / waitress and then helped ourselves to the buffet a selection of freshly baked pastries, cereals, nuts, fruits, breads, cheeses and charcuterie, everything was prepared to a high standard. The coffee was the best. We look forward to our next...
Read moreThis new hotel is about six months old now. Located on Duke Street, on the fringes of clubland, it’s large, bright and modern. (Half of the building is a Holiday Inn Express, so choose correct entrance.) Modular construction I think.
Check in was smooth, with free chocolate drink with dash of rum. Nice. Room, on sixth floor, was well appointed and spacious - high floors offer views and distance from the bustle around the hotel. Not sure if noisy further down, but windows seemed pretty good so probably not.
Mini fridge in room, called free ‘mini bar’ but just waters. A Diet Coke, like the Indigo, would be a good addition. Nice biscuits and fantastic shower. Bed was firm, but comfortable. Many pillows.
Didn’t try breakfast as left too early, but did spend a couple of evenings in the bar/restaurant. Very nice space - large, with different areas of seating for eating, drinking and sprawling. The staff here were all excellent - very attentive and pleasant. A credit to the hotel.
The beer was multitudinous - tried the local Black Lodge, which I liked but it came in a ‘festival’ pint glass ( short and fat) so switched to Peroni and then Asahi. Good choice. Sit in the window and watch the people.
The restaurant is excellent - a small plates menu. Yum. They recommend 2-3 per person which is about right, but get some chips as well 😆 The duck croquettes are a favourite, but also the satay bacon and the giant choux bun with apple and cinnamon.
Conveniently located for the restaurants around Bold Street - I would recommend Kai Bai Bo (Korean), Wreck (bistro) and Honest (burgers) based on this week.
Price was very reasonable for a hotel of this standard. Will...
