Absolutely loved every minute. The kids were so involved in this place, I would highly recommend you go here if you have kids but also guarantee the adults a great time too! My son, George who is 10 has adhd. He has about an eight second attention span so it's incredibly difficult to keep him engaged for too long with anything. Not in this place. He fully emersed himself in everything here, where I could see wonder and amazement in his facial expressions as we went round from one activity to another. The same could be said with my daughter Lilly who is 13. It's usually quite difficult to get a positive reaction from our now teenager but here, it's like she left all of that at the door and got fully involved and it was a joy standing back for a moment, now and then to see how intelligent she has become and how that teenage attitude she had gained since attending high school has been proven to be just a front. Even the Mrs had a great time here and almost wet herself laughing at me almost breaking my nose in the hall of mirrors where I was sure I knew the way out that turned out it wasn't the way out. We all had a great time here, it's the kind of place that commands your attention and makes you happy to go on that learning experience. Honestly, if you have a curiosity about how things work for example, how your body responds to optical illusions and the effects they have when you can't figure out how it's done and then seeing the same response in the kids as they stand there with wonder and amazement on their faces is priceless. I would highly recommend the Quirky Quarter to everyone of all ages, races and religions to take the time to visit. I Guarantee you'll have a great time here and will definitely leave the building with a smile...

The entrance to the Quirky Quarter itself sets the tone for the experience. Eschewing a typical entrance, it transports you through a whimsical portal into the craziness ahead. The heart of Quirky Quarter lies within the various exhibits. Each one offers a unique blend of the playful and the perplexing. From the gravity-defying “Upside Down Room” to the mind-bending “Infinity Tunnel,” the exhibits encourage active participation. Optical illusions take center stage in several exhibits, challenging your perception and understanding of reality. The “Ames Room” creates a disorienting experience where objects appear to shrink or grow, while the “Hollow Head Illusion” provides a hilarious opportunity to see your disembodied head on a platter.

Puzzles of varying difficulty add another layer of engagement. Some cater to quick visual observation, while others require more strategic thinking. Navigating through laser mazes or escaping from a virtual reality experience adds a layer of excitement and a sense of accomplishment when successfully completed. The “quirky” aspect truly shines through the numerous photo opportunities scattered throughout the exhibits. From oversized furniture to wacky props, the setup encourages creativity and laughter. Pictures for instagram add another layer of entertainment and allow visitors to create memories of their adventure. Adult £15-50 Child 5 – 15 years £9-00 Children under 5. Go free Adult Concession £12-00 Family of 4 Ticket 2 Adults & 2 Children, or 1 Adult & 3 Children £40-00

If you're looking for a unique and fun family-friendly experience, Quirky Quarter is definitely worth a visit! My husband, toddler boy, and I recently went and we all had a great time.

The museum's surreal exhibits and optical illusions were a hit with my husband, who was excited with happiness throughout the entire visit. He especially enjoyed the interactive experiences and oddball photo opportunities, which provided plenty of social media content for us to share with friends and family.

Even though visiting with a toddler can be a bit of a challenge, Quirky Quarter provided a family-friendly environment that made it enjoyable for all of us. My little one was fascinated by the puzzles and brain-teasing workouts, and we appreciated the staff's friendly and helpful guidance.

What stood out most to us was the attention to detail and the quirky and curious corners throughout the museum. There was always something new and unexpected to discover, and it was clear that the creators of Quirky Quarter put a lot of thought into the design of the exhibits.

Overall, we highly recommend Quirky Quarter for anyone looking for a fun and unique experience that can be enjoyed by the whole family. It's a great way to spend a few hours and make...

Amazing. Was able to book just a couple days in advance, great price considering the effort that's gone into it and how well managed it is. Staff were lovely and helpful, helping us pose for and take pictures etc., and didn't rush us or anything. Really fun and while a lot of the artwork type stuff on the walls were quite basic illusions, the rest was great (the artwork isn't bad but just I've seen a lot of it online before). Can't get over how clean the mirrors in the mirror room had to be in order to be crystal clear and literally look like there's no mirror there. I got so lost as a result lol. And on cleanliness, I wasn't expecting to find probably the cleanest public toilet I've ever seen in a big city. Would recommend 100%, more people the better as it makes for better photos, I only went with 1 person so we needed help taking pictures on most areas but it was still great
