Still no reply cos you know throwing things in peoples faces is a lawsuit! And the level of managment i really didnt expect anyone to do anything pathetic managment. This is a few months back but my experience at this location... early in the night one of the barmaids thought it would be a good idea tho throw ice as one of her half time shows for whatever stupid reason but I ended up taking it in the eye and my friend was hit in the face/head too, so later that evening someone in the venue was drunk nothing to do with me or so I thought I went to the bar and asked for a drink to be refused the manager literally pointed to the guy an said we are not serving you to what I said that's not me I don't even know him, this was irrelevant to the young bar lady that should not be managing! So I tried to have a discussion with her and only received rudeness and arrogance from the young girl, without knowing a bouncer that I would describe as a black male that can barely speak English grabbed me and tried to man handle me which he quickly realised it wasn't as easy as he expected I then tried to talk to him and got nowhere as he couldn't understand me and vice versa then another bouncer got involved young British male with a beard and told me he had watched the whole thing he knows I'm not in the wrong but I need to leave! Basic threat! Took my money to ruin my night I want to speak to head office or a regional manager I have emailed them an heard nothing, sort your management and bouncers out jokes!!! ... I think the girls name is Amy that threw ice in my face... not intentionally but its the fact of the matter If you are the owner reviewing these comments please do take mine serious as they are both serious offences on two different levels. As for the bouncer he needs making aware of UK Law as he is not permitted to put hands on people or engage in any form of force unless he is first threatened with physical harm this was not the case and he tried to get me by surprise! Reguards. M. Hawkins It's been roughly 4 months as expected no response it seems you only take the 5 star reviews serious, when you had 3 members of staff at your premises at fault you think higher anarchy would like to know more what a joke of an establishment I won't ever be returning for a few lights and refilled bottles of alcohol I am shocked...
Read moreBe at one in Liverpool is the place to BE! We went as a group on Friday 10th September to celebrate my friends 22nd birthday, and it was arguably one of the most fantastic nights ever. Not only were the cocktails very very tasty (and we drank a lot), but the staff are exceptional. Not only do the security guards welcome you in a friendly, genuine manner, but they wish you well and tell you to be safe when you leave, which is a pleasant change from the usual bounce type security in the city. As well as this, the bar staff were phenomenal. Benny and Damien were the dynamic duo that we didn’t know we needed, constantly dancing and creating a fantastic atmosphere in the bar, as well as photobombing our pictures. They danced on the bar (literally) all night, urging others to get involved and have a good time - exceptional. And a special thank you to Amy, and more specifically her performance of WAP which is one of the best we’ve ever seen. On a real note though, she welcomed us at the venue, escorted us to our booked table, and ensured we were happy, comfortably, and most importantly dancing throughout the night. If it weren’t for these fantastic 3, and the rest of the staff, the night wouldn’t have been as fun as it was. The bar is classy, laid back, and approachable to all ages from 18-80, with their variety of music and staff that genuinely seem to just get on with everyone. We love coming here and will continue to do so. Also - told you we wouldn’t forget to write your...
Read moreI felt like we got kind of shafted tonight when we went there for a couple of drinks.
Our server told us when we sat down that we still were within their Happy Hour so we would get one free if we ordered two cocktails. My wife and I couldn’t find one on the menu that appealed to us and our server said not to worry, they could mix us anything. So we ordered a pair of drinks with Passoa; one with Mezcal and one with Rum. When the server rang us up there wasn’t anything free. The server said we hadn’t ordered cocktails off the menu so there wasn’t the two-for-one. I told her that she had said we could have them mix whatever, and certainly hadn’t told us the offer was just for the menu drinks. She basically blew us off, claiming me hadn’t ordered cocktails but spirit pours (I often mix these two cocktails at my home bar) and certainly a Negroni for example is just a combination of liquors and is a cocktail, not a “spirit pour.”
So she charged for both and I felt like I’d been misled and treated disingenuously. It’s not hard to lose a customer if you treat them like this instead of admitting to the mix-up and trying to make it right.
At least the music was good but this staff treatment...
