We always come here when we are visiting our family in Sutton. We have been coming here for years now. The service is excellent, the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Without fail they always remember us, and treat us like long lost friends. The food is delicious. The milkshakes they do are out of this world, one of the best ones I have ever had. I have to have one every time we come here. When we come here sometimes there is 6 of us or 9 of us at times, and each time the food comes out piping hot and really quick. The place is clean and the service is good and friendly but they are the only positive points. The food is extremely poor. Starting with the lowest quality ingredients. Fatty bacon, very low meat content sausages, ultra mild tasteless cheese, baked bean soup and budget teabags. Add to this the lack of skill in the cooking. Anemic bacon, greasy and soggy hashbrowns, chips that taste solely of oil and a serious lack of spinach in the cheese and spinach omelette. All in all just about the worst food experience I've had in a long time. I don't ever expect too much from a cafe but this place was shockingly poor. I've eaten a bacon roll from pretty much every establishment in the Sutton area and this is the best. Its down to the bap. Its always fresh and soft and goes perfectly with the bacon, which is always cooked to perfection. A stuffed bacon bap and a hot drink for £5 is a bargain. The staff remembered my order after 2 days and are so polite and courteous. So far only tried the bacon roll but will be sitting down for a full English come the weekend. Ironically greggs is next door offering the same deal for £2 cheaper but don't do it unless you like eating cardboard and drinking the worst tea ever.
