EBB & Flow Sutton — Restaurant in London

Popped in to ask about venue as we had a joint birthday celebration. The Assistant Manager was very friendly and told me he had Karaoke on that night and told me about all the promotional offers of drinks and about the free pool table, he said he could reserve us a table and look after us all, (he and the other staff certainly did!) The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were a mixed group of 8 of varying ages. A young man called Jack was the chef that night and he was a little anxious because he wanted everything to be perfect (it absolutely was!), our food was cooked to perfection, lots of it, and DELICIOUS, great prices too! Karaoke was great fun, a group who were celebrating exam results joined in with the Karaoke and the guy running it made sure that everyone who wanted to sing got plenty of chances to sing equally which was great. We all had a really great evening and the staff there really did go out of their was to ensure that we did. Would absolutely go again, great night, great pub food, great atmosphere and fabulous...

Saturday lunch time. I was attracted to this restaurant by a large sign outside on the High Street, advertising two burger meals for £10. As soon as I placed my order, it turned out that it was only valid Monday to Friday. Today, Saturday, the price for the very same thing is £18. I immediately felt tricked into this and ripped off. If it’s only valid Mon to Fri, then why is the sign out today? When the cashier prepared my drink, I noticed that he opened a jar full of already cut lemons and he grabbed a piece of lemon with the same unwashed hands that he touched the cash I gave him and throw it in my glass to be. Disgusting! When the burger arrived I was further disappointed, as there was virtually nothing in it... an average burger with a tiny amount of salad and that was it. Just up the road, the house burger (for £1 less than this) has cheese, bacon, mushroom and salad... BIG DIFFERENCE! Very disappointed with this place and I won’t be going back in a...

This got a 2star (was going to give a 1 star) because I have eaten here a few times now but its never consistent with preparation or ingredients in the meals! The staff are nice & polite & are always smiling, that's as good as it gets! The price for the food, for what you get is not great. The burger I was presented with was dripping in grease/fat, with the garlic bread being soft & soggy, yet I was told its all cooked properly! Ha! The first time I ordered that burger it came with hardly any bacon, cheap & horrible cheese. This time it came with a decent amount of bacon and nice cheese but was dripping in grease! I was given just one serviette (which came with the cutlery) & no more!! Only good thing is that I was given a full refund for my meal. Will happily drink here again but never to eat!
