As soon as I saw the little Ding Tea lettering on the shop window during its early days of constructing, I knew I was going to be ecstatic when bubble tea finally makes its way to Lewisham
The interior of the place was incredible and much prettier than I anticipated. Their menu had a vast selection of drinks, as expected with prices starting our at ÂŁ3.90
I ordered their strawberry milk tea, a holy staple from childhood. Their pearls were silky and very soft to chew and their 50% sugar option had the right amount of sweetness
Craving bubble tea? No more long trips to Central London to get your fix as you can get yours in the heart of SE London

I went back in immediately, hoping theyâd understand since the drink wasnât touched and I had just paid for it. Instead, I got condescending looks and was told Iâd have to pay half price for anotherâseriously?
The staff showed no empathy and no care. The replacement wasnât just begrudgingâit tasted awful, as if it had been slapped together without a second thought. No apology. No effort.
Incredibly rude service and a drink that didnât live up to its name. I wouldnât recommend Ding Tea to anyone looking for quality...
