So... as a girl of Irish descent... I came into the pub first looking to use the toilet. But had to promise a drink before I used it. I did so. Came back to get a drink, and obviously all Irish are known for being really friendly and happy. But not this guy. Tom... was really rude to me. I sat at the bar. Had a drink and asked him where he was from. He became very sarcastic. I told him I was from an Irish family and he completely ignored me and moved on to speak to his regulars. He really embarrassed me and the pub was very quiet so his regulars heard everything. I kept trying but was refused his attention which was even more embarrassing. I have never encountered this ever... especially from the irish, but he was so rude. Never in my life did I thought I would ever give a bad review to an Irish pub but the way he made me feel I feel it's a must. I'm sad I have to review this place in a bad way. Read moreI use this pub occasionally, and I find the staff fantastic and so attentive. The bar is always clean, the empties are picked up immediately. You never have to wait to be served as the staff are on the ball and looking to serve. The owner is a good guy, he and his partner work hard as he does the cooking too.
