Denises Flowers — Local services in London

Inexperienced, Rude, Unprofessional & verbally abusive. I requested a bunch of roses from these people (who barely speak English) to be delivered to a Thames Cruise Ship for a very special occasion only to find that when my fiance and I turned up, they were not delivered. The Captain and crew informed me that Denises flowers turned up to the pier; asked if there was a member of staff on this Ship with my fiance's name and of course when the crew said no; he went back with my roses. I sent them specific instructions what to do when I placed the order and even called again a few hours before delivery to ensure that they understood. There English is appalling and they have no idea what they are doing. When I called up frustrated because my special occasion was ruined; he had the audacity to swear and use abusive words telling me that it was my fault. He accepted no responsibility whatsoever and rather than apologising, he continued to use abusive words in his accent. I was furious and told him to simply refund me my money to which I had to chase him for 2 days to get this actioned. DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM...

Just wanted to say a huge Thank You to the lovely gentleman at Denise’s Flowers. While doing our lockdown daily walk me and my partner stopped by the shop last weekend for a quick browse and we were amazed with the large range of plants and accessories for a very affordable price. After telling him what we were looking for, he was prompt to help us to find the best suitable plant within our budget. We then asked if we could collect the plant later as we wanted to finish our walk and he without hesitation agreed. When we came back to collect the plant that we choose it was shinny and beautiful, he then explained that he has used a special substance to clean it, (what a treat! On our way out the store I’ve spotted this beautiful tiny plant and could leave it behind, he then also gave me special discount on it, how lovely! The service started off well, but as I asked questions and had a couple of concerns, the communications stopped. I am in the US with an 8 hour time difference, so there was a delay in my responses, for which there was absolutely no understanding. I was misquoted prices, my plain English email's were misunderstood, my credit card which they initially thought was AMEX (even though I mentioned several times that it was MC) was charged four times. Still cannot get a response from them to resolve this or other issues, even though I have emailed them for the past seven days, hence my negative review. I had to have a family member step in who already had way too much on her plate to get the flowers in time.
