Where do I start with this terrible dive?
Sitting about for hours waiting to be offered a drink? Betting terminals that don’t work properly that are not maintained? Prize draws & competitions being routinely faked?
Or howabout just the corruption. I have seen with my very own eyes a manager take a winning entry from a tombola prize draw when he though nobody was looking on afternoon draw, grimace when he read the name screw it up & then pick another one out of the tombola instead.
That should give you an idea.
You walk in with the atmosphere of a morgue… where that hospital electrician weirdo that was in the news is operating before he was caught. As in the atmosphere that is.
The bunch of managers hang about in a group in the middle of the casino. A bit like ‘wrong uns’ hanging around a playground, sorry don’t want to be rude, but this type of weird vibe.
They are looking at the computer spying on who is in there what they are betting what they are winning or losing. You better be losing!!!
No welcome to customers just horrible atmosphere.
They used to have a customer in there who they rigged it to win a Punto Banco competition to win £5,000. How do I know this? Why she told me so BEFORE the start of the competition before she won. Phillipina girl. There was some sort of “ arrangement “ with her.
When she was surplus to business they banned her & all her friends.
We all know this in the gambling community ALL the regulars KNOW what goes on in the Chinatown Genting. Hence whilst virtually zero of us 1000s west end gambling regulars ever go there.
What a disgrace to the Genting brand.
The other Genting venues 45 Kensington & Palm Beach are excellent.
A case of disregarding the brand name; this place dropped off Genting radar / area management for some unbeknownst reason.
Lots of other venues will respect your money in west end. Well worth walking by to one...

Read moreI usually go to the Manchester one where the atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed. This place however is small, with no atmosphere, just 4 or maybe 5 roulette tables abd where you feel your every move is being monitored. The bar is small with just a small selection of bottles drinks and where you get charged a service charge just for the guy to take a bottle out of the fridge... Would I go again... ABSOLUTELY NOT..... would I recommend this place.....
