Wow! Nothing really to say other than wow! Okay now the helpful stuff... if you want them to come to you realistically you have to sit by the corridor bits. I noticed the ladies behind us rather annoyed they weren't getting a "grind" but really I'm not sure where they expected the man to go or how they expected him to get to them! Also if you don't want to be touched buy you are sitting by an open part, I found them to be really intuitive, my two friends who didn't want to be touched made it obvious (crossed arms etc). I really did want my money's worth so I sat there with my arms/hands sticking out infront of me and I came away with 3 hand holds, 3 personal grind sessions and a sloppy hand kiss (which I really enjoyed!)
In terms of where you are sitting we sat on A10 to 15 and it was great, as mentioned we had plenty of space yo be approached, plenty of space to order drinks and even place them down on yhe floor. The ladies behind us spilled their drinks all over the floor and didn't think to tell us to move out bags! So that's one thing to consider, it is quite a small environment and they ask you to out ypur bags under the seat, so I would suggest bring a small bag... smaller the better. I had my work rucksack (we went after work) and it was very frustrating to find our soaked bags at the end of the show.
I agree with the comments that the lady who commentates throughout perhaps isn't really needed... well it's like a "play" but use the word very loosely! But for me I just went to see hot bodies dance 𤣠and her voice brought me out of my trance too many times. To theady who complained about the way the guys looked...I don't even know how to address that! I felt they had someone there for everyone's taste and we actually found it fun to point out of favs. I don't think anyone went there to find the love of their life, lucky if you did, but to judge someone's face and height when they don't claim to be models seems a bit much... but maybe she paid for the front table and expected more from them. I thought all of their bodies were exceptional, and don't forget this is hours of work at the gym to maintain that. A few of them had some other talents like I say I was in a trance but I remember some tap dancing.... some flies of some sort. The best bit was when the guy was dancing on ropes with one of the girls. Amazing! These guys are talented! But remember you aren't going to see a play, this will be as fun as you make it. We had a good laugh. Oh yeah the big cocktails are massive and taste nice. Some of the guys came outside after the show, just before the start of their next one, they were so lovely. Needless to say I found my fav one and got a pic with him. Gorgeous smile đ
Oh and one last thing. The bouncers weren't the most helpful, but I guess one way to look at it is they are there as bouncers for the casino, so they are strighfaced for their Casino customers. When see a bunch of people excited, far removed from their normal clientele, they don't adapt but rather wonder if they will have to come in an get you out later. So just start your evening once you get past them, not before. They will definitely suck the joy out your...
Read moreSent the email to them, no answer from anyone. Dissapointing, false advertizing, definitely not taking my friend there for her hem. Below the email I sent them, that went unaswered.
"It took me a few hours to decide if I was going to send this email or not. But having gone through DV over 17 years ago, I thought I could attend your show.
Because this is what I thought that I would be attending :
Is Magic Mike a typical Male Revue?
No. Magic Mike Live is a high-end production show in a state-of-the-art venue with some of the most talented dancers from around the world performing amazing choreography amidst over-the-top production values. Itâs a place where women can feel what itâs like to exist in a world where their desires are heard and they are treated like goddessesâŚa place where they feel comfortable and proud."
Also every clip that I had seen of Mr. Tatum saying I curated this to be an amazing experience etc.
However, I almost left within the first 10 minutes of the show. The YMCA act where one came and without even asking, pushed the chairs around, put one leg on top of the table and used his hand to shove in my head in his crotch!! Tried to push him away with my hands on his legs and remove his hand from my head, but he did not stop until he felt like it?
No time for me to recover, a second one came, even though I had my bag on my lap. Sits on me and forcefully starts humping a few times and then leaves.
Then a crew member came to rearrange the chairs yelling "you can't move the chairs as you want they are put in this way for a reason", and I was pissed, I said "one of the dancers did that not me", grabbed my bag and left the room to go to the bathroom.
This was not a good start at all. Some girls coming late told me to come back and you'll see that's just the beginning because of the speech the woman makes, which I missed. If it wasn't for these two women I would have left.
This was very disappointing and it took me a bit to actually have fun, but it was because of the women around me.
Think there should be a warning or sticker given if we don't want to be touched or that it is not rough or raunchy. At least afterwards, they would ask "can I give you a lap dance".
I will not say who the two performers were as I will not be responsible for the consequences. But this needs to be changed.
Thank you for your time and never again!
ps: couldn't find who to email so sent to ones...
Read more3 stars for the dancers and the performance was amazing, really talented guys and gals, it wasn't cheesy and was so much fun (deserves 5*).
Unfortunately though our experience was over shadowed by the waiting staff. You really need to come up with a new system for drinks, or just let people pay when they order (like we asked to, but was told we pay at the end). There was clearly some confusion around our bill, I hadn't realised that if two people take your order (we were told by one guy that HE WAS EXCLUSIVELY dealing with us), then you don't pay a final bill you have to pay two people separately! When the guy who was "exclusively" dealing with us came to collect our payment, I paid and we carried on watching the show. A few minutes later another man come over to collect the payment the exact same order that I assumed we had paid for.
I showed him the recipes and he was getting frustrated and so was I. It was very clearly a miscommunication, and didn't warrant his overreaction. The bride we were with asked him to sort it out at the end because we were missing the performance that we (like everyone else there) paid a lot of money to see. He was then shouting at her and saying "no", we had to sort it out now. We ended up missing two performances because of some guy screaming at us. The bride then got his name wrong when she asked him to calm down, and he started yelling at her about that, implying that she couldn't tell the difference between him and the other waiter, he implied that was the reason he was upset... but, that happened after the barrage of abuse we had just listened to and was just an excuse for his behaviour. People get names wrong, especially with people you do not know!
He eventually left but our experience was ruined and we were all deflated at the end of what was really good show. After the show WE approached him and paid the bill once we had figured out what must have happened, and were met with him just being extremely rude and hostile, and denying in front of his colleague that he had not been shouting at us. He was, a lot!
I have never experienced customer service like...
