Exceptional Food and Service from Gully – A True Triumph!

I hired Gully in October 2024 to cater a retirement party for a company director, hosting just under 100 people. Being new to my role and eager to make a good impression, I was so fortunate to have Sudhir by my side throughout the process. From the very first interaction, Sudhir was warm, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Despite encountering several challenges on our side during the planning process, Sudhir handled every issue with a calm, reassuring “nothing is a problem, everything has a solution” attitude—which, incredibly, turned out to be true every time. His professionalism and flexibility made what could have been a stressful experience seamless and enjoyable. On the day of the event, the Gully team arrived promptly and set up and packed away quickly and seamlessly without any fuss, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The stall setup was absolutely beautiful and colourful, creating a vibrant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the delicious food.

The food was fresh, delicious, and truly the highlight of the event! Gully offered a fantastic variety of options that catered to most dietary requirements, which was greatly appreciated by our diverse group of attendees. The service of food was impressively quick and efficient, allowing everyone to enjoy the amazing flavours without any delays. The event was described as “a triumph” by our CEO, and I can confidently say that Sudhir and Gully played a huge role in making it such a success.

We hired Gully for our wedding and we are so pleased we did! From start to finish they were amazing. India, from the Gully team, called me the moment we enquired and worked with our venue to ensure all logistics were taken care of - she even went one step further and helped me with any other wedding supplier queries I had or vendors to source! Throughout the months leading up, the team kept in contact and everything was seamless. The food on the day was truly out of this world, they served everything on time - the starters were delicious and just the right amount of food but the star is the main dishes! They are truly authentic Street food vendors and fitted our vibe and tastes perfectly. On top of it all, they are the best looking street food van I’ve ever seen! So bright and they give you the option to add a slideshow of photos during service too. All our guests raved about the food (many highlighted that the paneer wrap was simply out of this world!) and I would not hesitate to book them again! We arranged to have Gully cater for my Dad’s 70th Surprise party at a local community centre. From the outset India was fantastic and accommodating for all the small requests we had. Sudhir even did a site visit to ensure that the plan can be executed. On the day itself, Nish and team did a magnificent job in managing the event and ensuring that our guests were fed and looked after in a timely fashion. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food as well as the ambience of the truck itself. The truck even accommodates photos of the event taking place to make it more personal.
