Amazing. What a lovely little gem. Me and my Chinese wife are allways in search of good chinese restaurants. And after walking down Deptford High Street we came across this restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and told a table would be ready for us in 5 mins. We had menus given to us as we sat in the waiting area. As soon as we were sat at are lovely clean table we had are order taken and piping hot green tea delivered to are table. Which tasted very nice and definitely not was the green dust sold in the large supermarkets. We ordered dim sum.look at the pictures. And was not disappointed. It all tasted so fresh with plenty of flavour. Most probably for us one of the best dim restaurants we have tried in London for a good couple of years. The staff were very helpful and spoke English as well as Chinese. They also have a full Chinese menu. Like roast duck and roast pork along with noodles and different types of rice. Plus assortment of vegetables and dessert. Price wise very reasonable considering the good quality and taste of the dishes. I woukd 5,stars recommend this beuitiful little restaurant may it be for dim sum or a full chinese meal. Very authentic without a...
Read moreThis is my second time here. Last time there were fewer people and the food wasn't bad, so I'm definitely bringing my foreign friends to try it this time. We were expecting six people to come, but one of my friends suddenly said she couldn't make it. Before she shared the information that she couldn't come, I was afraid there wouldn't be enough seats, so I said we needed six. But the waiter's face turned very ugly, as if we had committed a crime. What's even more ridiculous is that he got angry and said I was very selfish just because I didn't clarify the final number of people.
I want to say that I didn't come to your restaurant to be treated like this. Your business is good and you need to make a reservation in advance, but that's not a reason for me to be treated like this. We can wait and haven't made any unreasonable requests.
I promise I will never step into this restaurant again and I will never recommend anyone else to come. The waiters who speak Cantonese or Mandarin are very friendly and the food is fine. I'm just very disappointed with the male waiter in black who speaks English and his attitude is...
Read moreBeen here a few times for dim sum and so far the best tasting and most authentic HK style. The restaurant is very small compared with other establishment in the S/E London and the surrounding area is not the most appealing.
Weekday it is busy but never have to book or wait for a table, weekend it will be full house and noisy. I do not recommend sitting at the booth seats as the sofa bench is miles away from the table so you will not be comfortable.
Food is excellent, any dishes with prawn will be good. Price is reasonable and good value for money as each bite is full of meat and flavour.
See the photos, usually each plate comes with 3 pieces, some photos shows 6 as we ordered 2 plates etc.
Forget the roast meats, duck, roast pork are just ok la.
Parking near by is around 3.50 an hour, Plenty of spaces at Frankham Street and then less than 5 minutes walk.
Staff there speak a mix of Cantonese, Chinese and English. Only ever had lunch there but apparently they serve dim sum and other main...
