Amazing. What a lovely little gem. Me and my Chinese wife are allways in search of good chinese restaurants. And after walking down Deptford High Street we came across this restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and told a table would be ready for us in 5 mins. We had menus given to us as we sat in the waiting area. As soon as we were sat at are lovely clean table we had are order taken and piping hot green tea delivered to are table. Which tasted very nice and definitely not was the green dust sold in the large supermarkets. We ordered dim sum.look at the pictures. And was not disappointed. It all tasted so fresh with plenty of flavour. Most probably for us one of the best dim restaurants we have tried in London for a good couple of years. The staff were very helpful and spoke English as well as Chinese. They also have a full Chinese menu. Like roast duck and roast pork along with noodles and different types of rice. Plus assortment of vegetables and dessert. Price wise very reasonable considering the good quality and taste of the dishes. I woukd 5,stars recommend this beuitiful little restaurant may it be for dim sum or a full chinese meal. Very authentic without a...

This is my second time here. Last time there were fewer people and the food wasn't bad, so I'm definitely bringing my foreign friends to try it this time. We were expecting six people to come, but one of my friends suddenly said she couldn't make it. Before she shared the information that she couldn't come, I was afraid there wouldn't be enough seats, so I said we needed six. But the waiter's face turned very ugly, as if we had committed a crime. What's even more ridiculous is that he got angry and said I was very selfish just because I didn't clarify the final number of people.

I want to say that I didn't come to your restaurant to be treated like this. Your business is good and you need to make a reservation in advance, but that's not a reason for me to be treated like this. We can wait and haven't made any unreasonable requests.

I promise I will never step into this restaurant again and I will never recommend anyone else to come. The waiters who speak Cantonese or Mandarin are very friendly and the food is fine. I'm just very disappointed with the male waiter in black who speaks English and his attitude is...

Been here a few times for dim sum and so far the best tasting and most authentic HK style. The restaurant is very small compared with other establishment in the S/E London and the surrounding area is not the most appealing.

Weekday it is busy but never have to book or wait for a table, weekend it will be full house and noisy. I do not recommend sitting at the booth seats as the sofa bench is miles away from the table so you will not be comfortable.

Food is excellent, any dishes with prawn will be good. Price is reasonable and good value for money as each bite is full of meat and flavour.

See the photos, usually each plate comes with 3 pieces, some photos shows 6 as we ordered 2 plates etc.

Forget the roast meats, duck, roast pork are just ok la.

Parking near by is around 3.50 an hour, Plenty of spaces at Frankham Street and then less than 5 minutes walk.

Staff there speak a mix of Cantonese, Chinese and English. Only ever had lunch there but apparently they serve dim sum and other main...

What I order at dim sum in London 🥟 I’m British Chinese and this is what I’m ordering for Sunday dim sum. This week, I’m at Tea House in Deptford, South East London - one of my favourite spots in London and an underrated Chinese restaurant with great food and impeccable service. WHAT I ORDERED: - 鮮蝦豆苗餃 Prawn and snow pea dumpling £5.50 - 沙律明虾角 fried prawn dumplings with salad sauce £5.50 - 豉汁蒸排骨steamed spare ribs in black bean sauce £5 - 糯米雞 glutinous rice with chicken in lotus leaves £6.20 - 蟹皇蒸燒賣 pork and prawn dumpling with crab roe £5.20 - 蝦餃皇 crystallised prawn dumpling £5.20 - 蟹粉小籠包 crab bun soup dumplings £5.20 - 泰式鳳爪 Thai style chicken feet £6.50 - 乾鍋肥腸 £14.80 - 楊枝甘露 (on the house!) If you’re looking for a guide on how to order dim sum, what to order for dim sum and the best dim sum restaurants in London - welcome to my new series showing you everything I order when I’m eating dim sum in London (and around the world). Dim sum menus are often extensive with a LOT of options from steamed dumplings, deep fried dumplings, noodles, claypots, congee, cold plates to everything in between. It’s one of my all-time favourite past times and a huge part of my beloved Cantonese cuisine. Chances are, if we’re friends IRL - we’ve been so I’m now extending this to my online friends here to help you navigate the menu and the best restaurants in London :) #england #dimsum #chinesefood #chinese #british #cantonese #cantonesefood #chinatownlondon #chinatown #dumplings #dimsumlover #dimsumsunday #cantonesecuisine #londonfood #londonrestaurants #eseaeats #britishchinese #chinesecuisine #londondimsum #dimsumlondon #dimsumtime #londonchinatown #asian #britishbornchinese #yumcha #deptford #deptfordhighstreet #teahouse

My boyfriend ordered me dim sum for dinner, how did he do? 🤔 I tried to add traditional Chinese subtitles to this with some Canto slang but excuse any mistakes, it’s been years so my language skills are a bit rusty 😅 Teahouse in Deptford is one of my favourite restaurants in South East London - and their dumplings are great even after a long delivery! Ordered a lot of our Cantonese favourites though a few of our usual dishes had already sold out for the day so notable dim sum dishes include prawn cheung fun, soup dumplings xiao long bao, XO turnip cake, glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf, bean curd rolls and beef ho fun! Oh and won ton noodle soup OF COURSE! Stay tuned for the taste test! #dimsum #cantonesefood #londonfood #londonrestaurants #eatwithme #eseaeats #mukbang #dumplings #londonhotspots #eatlondon #chinesefood #bao #takeaway #chinesetakeaway #britishbornchinese #londonfoodguide #londonfoodies #siumai #hargow #cantonesecuisine #learnchinese

POV: We eat a dim sum feast together 🥟 taste test/mukbang of my London takeaway eating dumplings, sliced fish congee, deep fried prawns in salad cream and of course, chicken feet. This is from Tea House in Deptford, one of my favourite Chinese restaurants from South East London!
