No1 Lounge — Local services in London

The staff originally asked us to sit in a table, which we agreed. After 30min, my dad felt tired and wanted to take a nap, so he sat at one sofa. After 10min, he was kick out from the sofa.

When I went to the front desk asking to talk to the manager, one of the employees told me that it was the lounge’s rule to only allow who have prebooked the lounge to take the sofas. When I asked him to show me the rule in a written paper, he started to pretend that I was being unpolite - even though I was talking to him calmly without even raising my voice!

So, when he realized that he wouldn’t be able to pretend that I was being rude, he told me to look for the NumberOneLounge website, where supposedly was the rule.

When I opened the website, at first he told me to look after the rule myself. Then I told him to show me himself the rule. As he couldn’t find the rule, then he let us use the sofa.

So, to summarize: THERE WAS NO SUCH RULE AND WE WERE SUBJECT OF RACIAL...

I had a great experience at No1 Lounges. The place felt very cozy, casual, and relaxing—exactly what you need before a flight. The atmosphere is inviting, with comfortable seating and a calm vibe that helps you unwind.

The bar and food options were plentiful and exceeded my expectations. Everything I tried was fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. There was a great variety to choose from, whether you wanted a light snack or a full meal.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Their positive attitude added to the overall experience. I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the lounge was—it really stood out compared to other lounges I’ve visited.

FYI: It was a bit hard to find at first. You’ll need to take the elevators by Gate A18 up to the second floor.
