The food itself is nice but the portion sizes and price are a joke.

I ate here when they were called Kebab Empire. They have since rebranded themselves as Ottoman Empire.

With the name change, the portion sizes have shrunk in half and the prices have all gone up.

I ordered meat, chips and salad.

The meat and chips come in the same box. When you open the box it looks nice and full. They basically pad the box with chips underneath and provide a tiny amount of meat on top. Other customers have mentioned this in recent reviews and I should have taken note.

This is a really decent place. Exactly what you want. There’s no need for pretentious reviews here expecting it to be “better” or more “authentic”. It’s decent food prepared by hardworking decent people, exactly what you want after a night out, passing through on a cold day or just some sustenance.
