I have been attending Alonso’s yoga classes since 2017, and can safely say it has been a life changing thing for me. Alonso has created a community through his yoga classes for me, and I love being able to enjoy the art of yoga in a welcoming community environment. He is patient, kind and attentive and makes everyone of all levels of ability feel equal. Alonso’s focus on the spirit of yoga as a practice has really helped me in life with anxiety and I find myself using breathwork done in the class in difficult moments. For example, I was so grateful to join his classes over Zoom through the pandemic, that was a lifesaver! Alonso will also share a joke or two in the class which I always appreciate, as he is down to earth and makes his class accessible and not daunting, which yoga can be for many! Having his class on a Monday has been a great way to start the week in a calm, centred but also feel like I’ve improved my strength way, and I look forward to continuing to build my yoga practice through...

Alonso is up there with the very best. He is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, encouraging, patient and attentive to your Individual level and needs. His sessions leave you re invigorated and alive!

I would highly recommend attending Oval Yoga! Alonso has very solid yoga experience, knowledge and a kind heart. I started attending his classes in the summer of 2023. His yoga classes helped me get through some of my most difficult times. Breathing, meditation, and balance all bring me back to life. In the classroom, I can feel his love for the students, and I can also feel that everyone jointly creates a peaceful cohesion. I am very lucky to have met such a good yoga teacher.
