Malinka Delicatessen — Restaurant in London

Just look at my view! I can’t post or review on much other than the bacon, brie and cranberry on toasted ciabatta because I love it so much here. It’s a real asset to the Oval area and the top of the Brixton Rd. It’s a good deli for Balkan and Eastern European essentials (they have Macedonian Aivar - truly amazing stuff!) but it’s the wonderful toasted sandwiches that do it for me. The pastrami and tuna mayo are great and the coffee is up to standard. My sandwich in the photo was so good I added a close up! There’s 30 minute off-peak parking outside and the people here are nice. I’ll be back...

I love this store when it's open but I don't know why I even bother trying to come here. This is the FOURTH time in the recent months I am coming here only to discover it's closed while Google maps says it's still open. Please can you show more respect to your customers and their time and keep the opening hours up to date! It's incredibly inconsiderate given many of us Poles go out of their way to come here and you never bother to keep the opening...

Hands down the best pierogies in town. The owner is such a wholesome, warm soul — she makes the place feel like home the moment you walk in. Everything tastes like it’s made with love. The sandwiches are a must-try, but my personal favorite is the mushroom and sauerkraut krokiety — crispy outside, pure comfort inside.
